We have enjoyed the food and atmosphere of the Clayton and Kirkwood locations for quite a few years. There are many great gluten-free options since they have gluten free bread and the service is good. The only annoying thing about the Clayton location is parking but parking is a pain everywhere in Clayton, MO.

When you begin to consider a grocery store deli sub (or worse) for lunch, kick yourself and head for Gioia's! The quality comes through in every bite and you will remember why you have taste buds. Outdoor seating great for dog lovers!

Protzel's is a deli the way delis were meant to be. Great selection of items, including outstanding corned beef and pastrami, gefilte fish, chicken soup, chopped liver... I'm getting hungry just writing this. It's casual, friendly, and feels like New York to me. Right here in St. Louis. Or at least, Clayton. Also note: It's a great take-out place. Load up, take it home, and relax with a cream soda.
