Remote little restaurant near the sea. A wonderful hike will bring you there. Friendly staff and it could have been a perfect silent hide out.... Except... The silence is completely destroyed by the pronouncing sound of the fridges. The food is what you may expect; adequate and freshly made.

We were there on pizza. It is quite average pizza, with average content on it. Nice see side tables. They don’t take credit cards, big minus.

The owner here has definitely given some thought to how to create the best possible resto to compete with the many other similar offerings in Veli Losinj. How to distinguish your place? The results are pretty spectacular. Clearly they decided they would not be a "high-end by price" restaurant. If one chooses to charge more than anyone else, one can offer more than anyone else, but this is not the route they took. We stayed next door, so we saw their board every day, and we saw that each day, they offered two menus at 85 Kunas (Canadian $17, €12). We ate there 3 times in early June 2019 and each time the food quality was excellent and quantity was such that it was impossible to consider their very fine desserts. They also could not decide to be a seaside resto, because they are not seaside--they're 100 meters from the sea, but you can't see the sea from anywhere in the resto. Yet they have one of the nicest environments of any resto despite it, and that's because they did not cheap out on furnishings. They know that people like to eat outside, but they also don't like to feel like they would have to run if it rained, and so most of their tables are under a kind-of roof, but outside. This arrangement is very clever, since it gives you the best of both worlds. If you like to look up at the sky when you eat, maybe 30% of the tables give you this. If you like a tree to grow through your table, well, they have that too. They have music that is non-intrusive, pleasant, and not an affront to neighbours who want to sleep. Lots of little lights and candles. And they have a bunch of awesome, friendly wait staff who in 3 meals there, never got an order wrong, always were in a good mood, and always did everything they could to make us feel great. All this, and no comments yet about the food? Well here goes.People come to the Adriatic coast to eat grilled orada and branzino. Not every tourist likes this fact, but it's nevertheless been true since before the commies got there in WW2, it was like that throughout the communist period and it has continued to be so in the 30 years since. These guys do this extremely well, and we had these fish, grilled to perfection, with delicious crispy skin and moist, juicy flesh, exactly the way they're supposed to be. (and for € 12 for the MEAL--a big 600-700g fish, swiss chard/potatoes, and a large appetizer for € 12.)Other meals we've had, done to perfection, for €12 were lamb chops, seafood pasta (with a ton of seafood), and suckling pig. Each time with a large, tasty appetizer. The house wine was fine, and if you want something more, they have a good list. They bring out a platter of desserts to choose from at the end, and the one time we took dessert for some ill-advised reason (because it's so good, yet we were so full, we ended up taking dessert home with us) it was excellent.Highly recommended!Dear guest , thank you very much for your nice review and kind words. You exactly described what our intention as management was when we decided to rearrange the terrace .We are glad and satisfied that you as guest recognized our effort to make ambient cosy , wellcome and place for enjoy with all our senses. If you have enjoyed the food , even better ;DHope to see you again and untill then , have a nice and prosperous life .Best regards , Aleksandra

Few words: very touristic and not great quality of food, some plates are fresh some not. Also, 2 starters and main course to share with one bottle of wine more €60 per head. I would not go back (nothing compared to Artatore restaurant, amazing quality). Dear Alessandra,Thank you for you honesty. We advise you not to order food you are not willing to pay. Freshness was always on the first place in our restaurant, as we are sure that many of our long years visitors can attest to.We have many more dishes which are both tasty and cheaper than what you ordered. We invite you to try them.

Faultless food and service in a gorgeous woodland location. Best aperol spritz on the island as well. Shared a pate starter which the staff thoughtfully split onto two separate plates before giving to us. Followed by seafood pasta (incredible) and steak which my husband said was one of the best he had ever had and perfectly cooked. It was all SO delicious. Surprised it was fairly quiet considering reputation but apparently they had been fully booked for three nights previously so enjoying the respite! Definitely a must visit and would thoroughly recommend. Food on a par with some of the best in London but at a fraction of the cost!

I had dinner once with my brother, the place is super cosy and really nice atmosphere. The restaurant is inside a private terrace of an house where the owners are the family who live and work there too.Food is great, calamari are absolutely delicious, even because apparently was the the best season to have them.If I have to be picky the only negative note that was quite hot. However, I definitely recommend to eat there

This busy restaurant has a great harbour view. Simple, well prepared food. The grilled fish was excellent ans fresh, but overpriced 65 Eur per kg. We've had better selection of fish at more reasonable price. Nothing fancy but good food and pleasant service.

The fish offerings along the Dalmatian coast are all similar. But Mol is a family run restaurant and it shows. The waiter recommended over-baked turbot with potato slices and delicious homemade wine sauce that made the meal different and special. A beautiful location along the seaside for a wonderful sunset meal. We really enjoyed it.

Tonight we had the worst dinner of our holidays. Tricked into trying this restaurant because of its popularity on TripAdvisor we decided to try the cuisine of this Pisan chef. A kind waiter made the experience pleasant but the food was too bad for words. The tagliatelle al ragù were overcooked and the sauce must have spent time in a microwave as the temperature of it almost burnt our mouths. The taste of the sauce was also really bland and felt like a cantine kind of food. The calamari were not any better. The fish itself was hard and chewy while the stuffing was rather tasteless and lacking any element (cheese? eggs?) to keep it together and the spinach or the other tasteless greens were floating in the dish, completed by two crostini that were hard as a rock, and a rather bland guazzetto. We got the bill immediately so not to venture into other bad surprises from the menu. At least we had the beauty of Rovenska!Hi, Sorry for your bad experience, when we are super busy like last night, sometimes things can go bad unfortunately for costumers and for us. If you agree, we would kindly invite you again to try again our dishes , free of charge. Just a note, we do not have a microwave in the kitchen, only in a separate kitchen for warming up 3 different kind of desserts :) Hope you will enjoy the island and other resturants better .Kind regards, Maja
