Sunday lunch on the deck, soaking up the sunshine. Reasonably priced meals with variety. Fish of the day was salmon, well cooked and very tasty. Wine list isn't overpriced like many competitors in Orange. Enjoyable afternoon. Great outdoor eating venue.Thank you for your review, yes it is a fantastic view and we pride ourselves on providing a tasty well prepared menu for our guests, as well as offering local wines at an affordable price. Stopped here for lunch over the Easter long weekend. Plenty of seating in a lovely outdoor garden. Lots of food options - we ate from the pizza bar. Pizza was quick to come out.

The owner has done a great renovation on the property. Food. Was good and the wine list great. The only criticism we had is that there was a very long time between starter and main course... the reason? They had a big group function next door. It would have been nice to be informed about this earlier on in the evening. However, good evening overall and we willbebck!Thank you very much for taking time to review The Peacock Room !You are absolutely right about the timing issue you experienced, kitchen and restaurant management are currently working on a better flow for dealing with larger group and how it affect other diners. We managed to get a late booking for lunch last weekend: staff should have said- fully booked. We waited an hour for entrees and then another 30 minutes for mains. However the food was superb and we were offered free drinks. It was a Long lunch.Hi NarelleI am sorry that service was a bit slow. Mothers Day is a very busy day for restaurants, but I am glad you enjoyed the food. We look forward to seeing you another time.

We opted for the luxury king room because I imagined a country town pub/hotel to have shared bathroom down the hall but was very pleasantly surprised to walk into a lovely big room with en suite and fluffy white towels. The king sized bed was firm and comfortable. The aircon was effective although a little noisy although the room was really quiet. Breakfast was included in the price which was an individually cooked bacon eggs tomato or any cooked variety. I would definitely recommend staying here. Not at all like imagined. I would definitely stay here again

Lolli Redini is a must do restaurant in Orange. It has one hat - well deserved. It features lots of local food and wines done superbly. Our favourite was the cheese soufflé entree and the venison main course. Patchy service but the food more than made up for it.
