Five minutes from Avignon city center and the motorway A7 (exit n°23), a charming provençal home set in magnificent and peaceful garden. Internationally renowned gastronomic restaurant (chef Philippe Boucher, ex. Bocuse, Georges Blanc). Provençal restaura
We reserved here based on TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed with either the menu or the service. Both were flawless. A nice touch: one of the owners visited every table, confirming the diners' satisfaction in both English and French. However, choose another restaurant if you aren't prepared to spend 100 Euros pp for dinner with wine. The cheese cart is magnificent with 30 or more choices. We watched a diner at an adjacent table choose 6 (we had read that 3 were the rule) to the apparent chagrin of the server. Then to our amusement, her companion declined the cheese course.

Was looking for a restaurant near our accommodation after our arrival on our first day in the area. Our guests traveling with us were tired and there were limited options on a Monday night. A kind lady at the supermarket recommended a place but that was closed, then she recommended la bastide dâentraigues sur la sorgue I think, but I misunderstood and went into hotel la bastide.! But it was fine for the nine of us, but not the kind if wow impression i was hoping to make with our friends with their first meal in France! Hachette is mince and there was chicken done simply but well.

I keep track of my top 5 restaurants I have visited world wide. 12 years in the making. From Marmalade in Puerto Rico to Sensi in Barcelona. But itâs been years since I have had a chance to announce a new favorite. La cuisine du Dimanche. Wow. Husband and wife buy this restaurant from the prior owners nearly 4 years ago. The prior owners would only sell to this couple that would continue the tradition. And they have done so and moreGreat wine list. Great service. (My wife orders the seasonal vegetables as her entree only to find out they were beets. They quickly changed it out to a fabulous purée of carrots and grilled vegetables. It was crazy good.). The risotto was amazing as was the duck. Everything was truly crazy good which puts it now in my top 5 world wide. DO yourself a favor. Dine here!Merci d'avoir pris le temps de vous arrêter chez nous et de partager votre avis. Au plaisir de vous servirPauline et Mathieu
