This was our first visit to Bayou Express. The name fooled us, as we expected Cajun cuisine, but found out it was Asian. We were greeted immediately upon our arrival, and found the service to be excellent. The food was very good an plentiful (we took half of it home). Although the place is spruced up from whatever it was before, it is still a bit dated. Overall, we had a good meal and great service. We'll try it again when in the area.

First time there and had the lunch buffet. 3 long serving tables full of tasty items. From soup to Sushi, they have it all. I tried many things and all were good. I would say the sushi was okay; best to have it freshly prepared. There was America food too, fried chicken, pizza, tacos, fresh fruit, etc. The place was crowded with all ages. It must be the local favorite. The wall had numerous award plates on it.For under$7.00 it is an outstanding deal. Clean, great servers and a nice dining experience. A must stop in Peru.

it cost about $12 each . the buffett was big, with alot of food. went there on a saturday, about 3:30. had noticed some crablegs on buffett, they would not fill them the whole time we were there. i asked them, they said we dont speak engilsh.. really, thought that was a bunch of bull. be prepared for the waitressess( like all of them) to be eyeballing your plate ready to pounce on it when your done. stop doing that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We're regulars here, and it never disappoints. The low price belies the quality of food, the decor, and the pleasant layout and ambiance. A total inside/outside rehab of what was already nice, makes this a pleasant place to enjoy a meal. Excellent service and friendly attentive workers. Booths and tables are all new and comfortable. There is a "party" room for gatherings. It is basically Chinese Buffet, but also has a wonderful Mongolian stir fry, and an extensive, always fresh, sushi bar. The selections of different foods defies description, but my favorites of salmon, stuffed crab, stuffed mushrooms, five kinds of shrimp and the six premium ice creams are always available. Too many entrees to count, often some surprises, calamari, crayfish etc... to keep the menu interesting. The buffet trays are always kept full and hot in the state of the art buffet tables, and there are always one or two attendants, cleaning, refilling and attending to the appearance. Have never experienced cold food, or been to the restaurant at 'after normal hours' where any of the trays were empty. The kirchen is super clean as far as I can tell. The waitresses are very pleasant, and the average time to remove an empty plate or refill a half empty glass,is about 20 seconds. Parking is ample, and easy. Recently the Master Fry added a full beverage selection of wine, beer, and spirits. So I'm biased, because there isn't anything we don't like. True, Haute Cuisine it is not, but we're not into that. .I'm too embarrassed to tell you how low the prices are, but to say that for two of us, as seniors, the tab comes to less than $15, including tax, and a 20+% tip. Am actually hoping they'll raise the price before it becomes too popular, and we can't get in. We go here for family reunions, and when friends visit. The first thing they always ask, is"Can we go to the Master Fry?" Even the people who don't care for Chinese, find enough American food to satisfy any palate...
