By default it's the Chinese restaurant we order most from because it's close. Order and no matter when it will really be ready, they'll say 10 minutes. For the most part they are right on, but go on a Mother's Day or a Friday night and you may be in for a wait. Make sure you verify your order, mistakes have been known to happen. If you have food allergies BEWARE! They are not careful about cross contamination and if you question them they don't understand the severity of the issue.

A perpetual favorite. Whenever I am in town visiting my sister, we go at least once. Eat in or take out. The table service is excellent and attentive. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The place is well-maintained and very clean. The food is outstanding. One visit they specially prepared a vegetable dish, with minimal charge. On the second visit, I had the Kung Pao Chicken---outstanding. My sister had the Cashew Chicken and Chicken Fried Rice. Both meals were excellent. We truly enjoy Plum Garden.

The food here is always consistent and the staff are very friendly. This is strictly a ¨take-out¨ restaurant...only a couple of chairs for the people waiting! We've tried many things on this menu and have not been disappointed by any of it! If you're in Richmond...stop by!

Excellent food and great service. The establishment was clean. It appears take out is very popular for this establishment. We though stayed and eat. Portions were small compared to other Chinese restaurants I've been to in Lake and Cook counties. One small cup of rice for two adult meals. The waitress did get us another small cup of rice upon requests.

This is basically a take out place. The food is just ok, but is it consistent. We have ordered numerous times. In comparison to other places, I would disagree with a previous post: the portions are about the same size as most of the quick, take out places. The price is just about on par with others, too. You can ask them to customize your order, but it is best to do it in person. Trying to explain any changes, say you want it hotter, it is best to explain in person because the language barrier can be difficult if one of the non-english fluent people answer the phone.We found ordering from the "lunch deals" is more economical. Not a bad place for a quick dinner on a busy night.
