You will never go empty hand in Phoenix. It has organized glass counter to showcase their food and dessert selections. Between the menu items and those behind the counter and glass fridge, there must be over 60 different types of hot and cold sweet soups, fruit an tea drinks, puddings, cookies, cakes and special dessert from different countries. There is always something that will appeal to you. I like their fresh durian and mango sticky rice rolls. The regular menu also fills with a large selection of dishes. The kids just loved their garlic chicken wings and pork chop with fried rice. The staff is also very helpful and knowledgeable in the ingredients for the dishes. Each time we went, we always ended up ordering a lot so we can bring something back to enjoy.

No carts, but check-off sheets for what you want and the servers are wired so they are calling in your order even as they walk to ring it up. Food arrives as it is prepared: piping hot, dish by dish. Because we know our way around dim sum, we stuck to the traditional items on the menu: shrimp dumplings, pork dumplings, etc, and tried the fried carrot dumping, surprisingly delicious. Our party of four ordered WAY too much because they believe in the entree type of order. We also split two soups: the hot and sour and the dumpling kind. Both well seasoned and turned out. Also spicy salt and pepper fried calamari (exquisite; get this, though one does not usually see in a dim sum restaurant) and chicken lettuce wraps, which I would not recommend because it does not seem dim summy. The fried sesame balls with sweet red bean paste are one of my husband's taste tests, and these did not disappoint, though not the best we've ever had: a little large and too little bean paste, but served piping hot. Note issues about seating. We arrived about 8 and scored the only open table. Not sure I would try this place at lunch time. Sure the carts are better, but our service was excellent.

We had egg flour soup or hot and sour soup, Mongolian pork or beef, garlic shrimp or shrimp with lobster sauce. We were given chop sticks although we did not use them. Along with the entrée we were served fried rice, and chicken salad. The chicken salad did not have much chicken in it or dressing. You would have to ask for more if you wanted more of the salad dressing and or chicken. Also included was an egg roll. You could chose white rice instead of fried rice.When we were leaving the staff was placing table clothes and napkins on the tables for the dinner hourThere were high chairs. There was no WiFi.

I organized a friendsâ outing to Lunasia on a Saturday morning. Having never been there and knowing my lady friends were totally unfamiliar with Dim Sum, I was a little worried that they might not enjoy it. I had heard that there was a tremendous wait, even at 11AM, but we sat outside for what seemed like just a few minutes before we were called. As I suspected, my friends left all of the ordering up to me, so I dove right in and ordered various dumplings, green beans, sliced pork, noodles, pork belly and a few other things. I even decided to order dessert so that we would not have to call the server later in the meal. To my amusement, the first thing that arrived was the dessert! There were also a few items being offered at the tables by the servers. One of the ladies spotted some buns that looked delicious and indeed they were. Another server came by with what looked like long thin bread rolls â they were a sweet item with custard inside. Everyone oohed and aahed! Everything was very tasty, especially the green beans and the pork belly item. Service was OK, with little contact from the servers (everything ordered from a form on the table via pencil check marks). As busy as it was, I expected to be rushed, but there was rushing us at any time and we spent quite a while just catching up. This was well worth the drive from the Westside.

We had to arrive at 4:30 pm to get a table for an early dinner on Motherâs Day. No reservations accepted. Parking is very crowded in the lot but they have valet parking. There is also parking on the streets if lucky to find one. We had a party of six and ordered the Family Dinner for $54 which included 5 dishes - House Seafood Soup or Sweet and Sour Soup, Clams with Hot Spicy Sauce, Kung Pao Chicken, Sauted Pea Sprout, and a Steamed Whole Fish (Tilapia). Our main dish was the Newport Special Lobster (market price). A medium lobster was sufficient for our party of six. Everything was fresh and delicious! The lobster was all gone but we took the spicy lobster sauce and leftover rice home to make a fried rice dish tomorrow. This was a very good value for a lobster dinner! In a per person basis, each person cost approximately $50, including tip.
