Our first visit here. I was surprised that they served Ham Egg Foo Young which is unusual. It was good. My husband had Almond Boneless Chicken. The serving his was plentiful. Mine was average. My only complaint was my Wonton Soup had no filling in the dumpling. Waiter says that happens, but I think that is poor.

Our family has eaten at this restaurant at least twice a month since they opened. Yesterday, July 16, 2014, we spent our normal $30 and this time they threw in a free cockroach!!! DISGUSTING!!!! And we didn't discover it until we went to eat leftovers! It was in the bottom of the container. We will NEVER eat there again!!! I just want to vomit thinking about it!

Instead of going to one of our usual favorites (Lotus Room and Emperess of China), we thought we'd try this place out.When we pulled into the parking lot off Richfield Road, we both thought "ewww! this doesn't look so good". The building is rather dumpy looking (see photos). We have dined at many similar looking mom and pop places with really good food so we decided to go ahead and walk in. The dining room looks a bit better than the outside does, but still, the windowless dining room feels like a remodeled basement from the 1980's. The menu has a good amount of selections, however, we were dissappointed to find out that there were no Vietnamese food choices. A pleasant suprise was the pricing of some food items. You can get an egg roll for just a dollar. The 12 piece fried Wonton Appetizer was only $2.95. Most of the combo dinners were around $7.50 and included soup and egg roll.I ordered combo #9 "General Chicken", and my wife ordered combo #2 "Boneless Almond Chicken". Both of our meals tasted good, however the vegetables in my dish looked old and greyish (yuck... see photo). I didn't eat those.The price of pop is a little high, but the REAL BAD NEWS is that they charge you full price for any refill over one. They fill your glass so full of ice that you don't get much drink before needing a refill. I strongly suggest either ordering only ice water or hot tea with your meal.The waitress service is average to a little slow (when more patrons showed up). The food was delivered hot and with no mistakes.I might return to try some other combinations of food (if I'm in the area), but I wouldn't make another trip across town to visit this place.
