I'm badly burnt from yesterday's beach activities (South West Rocks, Hat Head, Crescent Head), taking a break at Wauchope. I've never been to this part of the woods and Curlys Cafe is representing Wauchope pretty good. Great coffee and food.

Bacon and egg toasted sandwich delicious as was her toasted Santa. Pot of tea and relax on the balcony overlooking valley. Will basically make you anything you want within reason. A little gem in the middle of nowhere.

What a gem, great food, best coffee in over a week of touring nsw and the friendliest of staff. Well prices and a good variety on the menu. Bonus, no ridiculous surcharge on australia day holiday. Well done guys. Hope business thrives. It should as you gave got it all

This was the Christmas get-together for the Wauchope District Historical Society. We were seated in the covered outdoor area of this sensitively renovated dwelling where transparent blinds can separate one from wind and rain if needed. I have always found meals at Immersion to be really good and excellent value; this lunch was no exception. For just $20 a head we had generous fresh salad with cold ham, turkey and cranberry sauce, beautiful mini Christmas puddings with custard for dessert followed by coffee or other drink of choice. Superb value with prompt and efficient service and we didn't leave the table with that too-full feeling often attached to seasonal fare. I am a coeliac and am never disappointed with the gluten-free offerings at Immersion; my current favourite is grilled haloumi with salad - very good indeed!
