Great deli sandwiches, or yummy sausage gravy and biscuits, for breakfast, is what Wayne's Brick City Cafe specializes in. Fast delivery is their foremost specialty, and for locals, eating their is the place to catch up on what's going on. Great service, and reasonably priced meals is what Wayne's Brick City Cafe has been known for many many years.

Was on my way to breakfast down the street. As we passed by my girlfriend said "what's the deal with the Cuban bakery...they are pretty crowded. Ever eat there?" First know this spot is quite unassuming from the outside. Even the interior is not fancy. Clean and comfortable... absolutely just not fancy. You have to order at the counter. The ladies behind were patient and helpful. Explaining the features of the menu us non-Cubans didn't know. I had the Paradise special and my love had the Home-style Omelet. YUMMMMMM the coffee was outstanding the food was served to our table promptly and was delicious. We ate pastries with our eyes(we are trying to cut back on sweets) but I wish we weren't cutting back. Someday I'll enjoy because we will be back.

Was walking by Saturday evening. Heard the music and stopped in. Glad we did. Good food, great choice of drinks and excellent service.Also, the two person band was excellent. Took request and covered them all very well!

Mom always said you can tell how great a food establishment is by the PACKED CROWDS and folks waiting for seating. One of our Favorite places to come and relax, get a hug and a smile from the Owner / Hostess " Barbara " and one of the Many super hard working wait staff. Still one of my favorites is the VEGGIE Omelette with a side of Sour Cream, Rye Toast, and fresh hot Tater Tots. But this morning I chose the small OATMEAL ( The Large Oatmeal could feed a hungry family of four ) with Rye Toast because I have a Doctors appointment coming up and at least I won't have to lie to him. Yes, I eat healthily! (Sometimes). But seriously folks this place is worth the wait for a table. And like the CHEERS BAR, everyone knows your name. REPETE CUSTOMERS for sure.

We recently read a piece in Ocala Magazine about this little restaurant and while in Ocala yesterday decided to give it a try. We were surprised at how intimate this restaurant is. With only a few tables, it will hold about 20 people, so if you are going to eat in get there early. My wife and I split a Q'bano sandwich and a cup of chicken noodle soup and had two drinks. The bill was $14.74. I would highly recommend. The quality of the food and the items I saw ordered by others made it obvious they had been there before. This even feels like an authentic Cuban environment. We will be back.

Over the lunch hour on Wednesday, December 12th, I visited Cafe Havana for the first time. I visited a family member that had visited before. I was hesitant about ordering from the buffet type line offerings. However, my lunch mate selected the pulled pork plate. She said it was delicious. Her plate was piled high with pork and rice. I ordered a Cuban sandwich and a side order of fried plantains. Both were very good. I look forward to returning and working my way up the menu. A very good first visit.

I had to go to Ocalla for business and found this place on TripAdvisor. Itâs small, has character and the food was excellent. I had the avocado toast and it came with crabmeat, fresh mixed tomatoes, great bread and nice presentation.As a bonus I met a candidate for mayor and her friend who use this as a meeting place and who extended the cordiality one would hope for in any great town.
