This location is no ordinary bar/cafeteria. Outwardly it is, but, the level of service provided by the large force of waiters is quite remarkable, so attentive.....and fast!!If you enjoy the famed Spanish Churros and Chocolate + leisurely people watching then this is the place to enjoy breakfast, another meald.Highly Recommended.

Cuando un amante del dulce entra "a pecar" a un sitio como esta ConfiterÃa, va preparado ademas de a disfrutar saboreando lo que decida comerse, a vivir una agradable experiencia con todo el proceso, que consiste en recrearte mirando los productos expuestos, dudar entre cual quieres probar, pensar si te llevas alguno mas, para comértelo mas tarde...Pero en este dulce sitio, matan todo "el disfrute" añadido, ya que te sientes observado desde el momento que cruzas el umbral de una manera bastante desagradable y lo único que tienes ganas es de abandonar el lugar, eso si con tu pastel en la mano y ya te comerás el dulce en la calle, pero lejos de un ambiente tan hostil.No se si les molesto que hiciera fotos del dulce que habÃa comprado o si esas miradas "tan poco dulces" son la habitual forma de tratar a los clientes, pero el caso es que si la atención hubiera sido diferente, hubiera preguntado y comprado, distintos productos que tenÃan expuestos, pero me limite a comprar un dulce y a salir.Todo lo anterior no resta merito a los productos que se ofrecen, que son realmente deliciosos y a la ubicación de la confiterÃa, entre soportales en pleno casco histórico de Guadix muy cercano a la Catedral.

We were staying in the Hotel Palaccio Onate, which is a five minutes walk away from Plaza de la Constitucion.We stopped at this cafe-bar on our first day on our way back to the hotel, we chose to stay here because it was busy with locals and after that we would visit at least once a day, either for food (the food at the hotel was appalling) or just for a drink.The service was fantastic, friendly and happy. The local patrons were also friendly and would make us welcome.The food was excellent value, only 8E - 10E for a three course meal with a choice of at least 3 dishes for each course.Tapas is served with drinks in the evenings, nuts with drinks in the daytime.After a couple of days the staff knew our drinks and would be ready to serve us straight away.
