The coffee and pastries were amazing!! Our cappuccinos were amazing and the pastries were such as good! This is a must when in Endleberg! After a long day of hiking in the mountains the coffee and pastries were a great treat at the end of the day! The man working was also extremely kind and was one of the nicest people weâve met traveling in Switzerland! This coffee shop is a must!!

For 9CHF, this place offers breakfast which is sumptuous. coffee is unlimited, rest are limited. But still it is sumptuous. Otherwise the place is expensive. Well entire Engle berg is expensive and hence in comparison, this is probably cheaper. Very clean and well kept place. i thought of having breakfast outside the restaurant in the open air but the honey bees were annoying.

We are to go out for a late lunch and The Tea Room has been recommended by the hotel staff where we were staying. Following this recommendation, we walked to the restaurant to dine. They offer lunch, salad, sandwiches, pastries, coffees and drinks to their customers.I had their Sausage and Cheese salad which I loved. It was very filling for a day out in the mountains. Price-wise, I think this is in the mid-range level as it costs CHF 11.50.Add to that, the staff are friendly and willing to help out. We had a good time dining out here.

A wonderful visit to the cheese factory in Ellenthal. It was topped off with a great lunch at the Schaukaserei restaurant. The food was amazing and for a lover of cheese this was close to heavenly. The views from this place were also incredibly beautiful and the staff were prompt and very friendly. We had some small children with us and the staff treated them with great kindness even though they were very busy.Highly recommend!

At first or from the outside looks quite inviting so goes without saying, with -4o outside an obvious choice however. Once in, unless you order quickly and precisely what you want, which as a non local or a foreign soul is not always a possibility you may just experience what we experienced. A grumpy waitress dishing out unnecessary side comments AND if your diet does not include animal products or gluten then wear a full proof crash helmet or take out Danger Insurance.
