The food was VERY mediocre. It's too bad as they have a terrific location - right next to the airstrip. Maybe they need more staff to help because I think the kitchen is just pushing food out as quickly as possible without paying attention.

This store has a little bit of everything. The store has food items, in another area of the store are rows of various shaped penny candy jars filled with candy, another section of the store are shelves of books and chairs to sit down in while you sit and read, another section of the store has tables and chairs where two to four people can sit and play card games or board games that are available, and then there is the coffee shop area that is in an old bank setup. A self-serve food counter is near the grocery area. On the counter is a crockpot with individually foil-wrapped biscuits and in another crockpot was sausage in gravy to pour over the biscuits. At the coffee shop I had a yummy, spiced chai that the coffee shop barista prepared fore me.The shop was still in the efforts of being set up when I visited. It is by no means is this an elaborate store, this is an old fashioned country general store, complete with a worn wooden floor. It has character and nostalgic charm. The staff in the store are very friendly and welcoming.

Stopped in for lunch which was great but wish I had been there for breakfast since I hear it's fantastic. Our burgers, chicken soup and Philly steak sandwich were good, couldn't stop eating the fries. Homemade pie was delicious. Prompt & friendly service.
