You can smell that you are in a great BBQ place the minute you step out of your car! As you step in the rambling white building with an obligatory southern porch prepare yourself to enjoy great southern bbq. The atmosphere is "down home", the wait staff is friendly and helpful, and the menu provides all you could ask for in bbq cuisine. I have enjoyed the brisket, the bbq chicken, the ribs, and my personal favorite the pulled pork. The sides are equally delicious...one of my favorites is the tater tots! The last time I was there, I tried the "Tucker Tacos" (choice of meat and topped with coleslaw) and they were delicious.

I was next door gassing up my car and could smell something wonderful. There was a guy cleaning up around the gas pumps, so I asked him about the shack next door. He tells me that it is always busy, and he was right. I parked the car and went over to Juci Jerk. There were 3 people in front of me in line, by the time I got my food another 5 people had come in.I got the pork and a slab of ribs. by the time I got to the car, I couldn't stand it and had to have a piece of pork (beware of the bones). It was delicious. Got home and gave my wife a piece, she loved it. Then she saw the ribs and had to try them. They were to die for. Perfectly cooked. They have weird hours and the place is really small. I would do takeout only there, as there was 1 table with a couple of chairs around it, that's right 1 table in this place.

We are big BBQ fans and we know that "amusement park" food and prices are usually not good and too expensive. We were pleasantly surprised with this restaurant though. The BBQ and sides were actually pretty good. They weren't "the best thing I ever ate" but they were no where near the bottom either! The portions were much larger than we expected and the price was pretty close to what you would pay in most BBQ places for the same amount of food. The meat is already sauced which has it's good and bad sides but it was a good sauce. Seating was a little limited but we also had five adults plus a high chair.
