We found this restaurant while exploring the smaller streets of Omis. When it started pouring down they dashed out to quickly rearrange our table so that we were all under cover, then brought out good food, beer and cocktails. Very friendly service.

we were staying in the Hotel and all though we normally eat out we just thought we must have diner as we had had a lunch and nibbles during the days {all superb) ,the owners have done a great job ,its comfortable stylish the foods great but for me its the staff who make it ,so helpfull and nice ,even by Croatian standard (we found everyone helpful),Superb wine choice by the Manager again a fine Croatian white all in all a lovely experience ,The Fish Tapas at lunchtime is great as are the cocktails and local beer ,congratulations to the Owners on a job well done

When we were looking for a place to have dinner in the old part of Omis, we passed through one of the narrow streets. In the open door I saw a man who was cleaning fish and preparing to cook it on the grill. I made a picture - you can see it uder my review. It looked so home-made, so simple and so tasty, that I immediately decided - we will have dinner here. The restaurant inside was almost full, there were groups of tourists, noisy and a little hot. And we decided to sit outside - the tables stand directly on the street, the tourists pass by. The waitress approached us, probably it was the hostess. She talked to us so cordially, she talked about the menu, offered dishes to choose from. We decided to eat fish. The order was executed quickly, the fish was delicious, fresh, and the portions were huge.We drank white wine. As a gift from the institution we brought home sherry-brandy. Very tasty and nice.Here do not accept credit cards, only cash. I highly recommend this restaurant, here is delicious, nice, the prices are acceptable.

Having been recommended this place, we searched it out on our trip to Omis, and it was well worth it. Tucked away with a tiny alley entrance, Konoba Joskan serves authentic Croatian cooking (including an abundance of freshly caught fish). Meats, fish, vegetables, all are grilled within the courtyard eating area, so you smell the aroma of your dish before it arrives! The staff were very friendly, and the place was filled with as many locals as tourists, always a good sign. Very reasonably priced in comparison to other restaurants, plus a decent range of wines. Highly recommended.

Very nice host! Familiar atmosphere and memorable experience. The fresh fish that we had was just amazingly fresh and super tasty. The house wine was very good however was not cold enough and we follow a recommendation, we had a perfect Cossetto Prima Luce Malvazia.If you like fresh fish, good wine, affordable prices and an amazing view/experience don't miss this little gem!The homemade olive oil is something...Well done!

Came upon this restuarant by chance as we were walking past and saw the menu before we saw the restaurant. The host pointed out the tradtional local dishes they specialised in. As we were looking to try some traditional dishes we thought we'd try here. Boy we weren't disappointed!Tucked away down a side alley, we sat in a small courtyard, and even though we were the only 2 there that didn't spoil it. We decided to go with the traditional lamb stew dish that was cooked over the coals. It was amazing! together with some local red wine and local cheese to start, this was the best meal we had in our weeks holiday. So good we went back the next night for more!You need to try this place you won't regret it .
