After boycotting the Grand Prairie Dickey's location due to the horrendous service, I was pleasantly surprised to find the service at this location significantly better.

I stopped by after an early evening appointment as I couldnât be bothered to go home and cook. I ordered the make your own burger, the veggie option and as such everything was extra. Sides are extra regardless. By the time I had added an Oreo shake and onion strings, the cost was $15. The food tasted excellent, couldnât complain there but it wasnât cheap.

Hands down, the best ribs in Mansfield, TX. Tender, never fatty, they come without sauce and are delicious with or without sauce. Their sauce isn't overly sweet. Well balanced. Great house beans & okra also. Everyone here is really friendly & welcoming. The ham & turkey are also excellent.

I didn't particularly like the place when we walked in. But the place grew on me as the afternoon went by. It is basically a rib joint. Not really much for vegetarians but appetizers and sides. The fried pickles were meh...too salty and no pickle flavor. Loved the fried jalapeno slices. The two young Texas gals who waited on our table were efficient and full of smiles. We kept them busy, as there were 22 of us. Good job on the steamed broccoli and navy beans. So with some creativity mixing appetizers and sides I got my fill. Bill said his ribs were perfect. Bob loved the catfish, Rachael destroyed her chicken salad, and Cynthia said the shrimp was really good. I might be a snooty vegetarian but I can appreciate other people's tastes. Everyone thoroughly liked their food. With a couple of happy hour margaritas to top it all off, it was all good. Good friends (and some new), good food, and good times. I have been going to this Chili's location once a week for a few years but the last few months, the lunch food quality has become very inconsistent and slow. I like their salsa and chips for an appetizer but you never know how good they will be. Sometimes they are excellent and then they come so full of grease you can see it covered in the light. You can almost lick it off. Their soups have become inconsistent as well. If this keeps up, I will quit going. It's a shame because I want to like it.

Its been a long time since I have eaten at this restaurant and the overall experience was average! The Turkey was average and luke warm at best! The southwest salad was good! The dinner rolls are still good! But the waiting for dinner rolls hasn't change at all! By the time the staff come around to giving you another roll, we are almost done eating! The place was clean and staff were friendly! The price of the brisket keeps going up!

What's lacking in quantity and quality of the bbq is made up by the friendliness of the staff. It's an okay bbq joint with rugged interior decor. Worth a try and good place to meet the locals as they have a following for sure.
