Family restaurant open in 1969. On the Croatian coast sea, we serv traditional dalmation food, fish and meat specialties. From grill in the terasse. We don't do take a way.

We stayed for a week in the area and ate their four times. Every meal was an absolute treat. Wow the fish! Whole bass and bream with crispy skin and plump, moist flakes. Delicious tomato salad and an excellent wine list. The family who run the place are very friendly and speak excellent English so no worries on what to order. The mixed grill is huge, the scampi is delicious and the hashed meat with cheese was juicy and tasty.As we left I kissed the chef and my husband kissed his wife (only on the cheek of course!) - I will send the postcard I promised!

Having been recommended this place, we searched it out on our trip to Omis, and it was well worth it. Tucked away with a tiny alley entrance, Konoba Joskan serves authentic Croatian cooking (including an abundance of freshly caught fish). Meats, fish, vegetables, all are grilled within the courtyard eating area, so you smell the aroma of your dish before it arrives! The staff were very friendly, and the place was filled with as many locals as tourists, always a good sign. Very reasonably priced in comparison to other restaurants, plus a decent range of wines. Highly recommended.

The heat in the restaurant is very uncomfortable.They are on the wrong side of the road for the beach so they shutters keep the car noise out and subsequently it is stifling.The food is BIG, they give you chips and rice and huge chunk of whatever you ordered, this can be seen as a plus but I prefer to go with quality and not quantity.Service cannot complain and it was priced correctly.

Came upon this restuarant by chance as we were walking past and saw the menu before we saw the restaurant. The host pointed out the tradtional local dishes they specialised in. As we were looking to try some traditional dishes we thought we'd try here. Boy we weren't disappointed!Tucked away down a side alley, we sat in a small courtyard, and even though we were the only 2 there that didn't spoil it. We decided to go with the traditional lamb stew dish that was cooked over the coals. It was amazing! together with some local red wine and local cheese to start, this was the best meal we had in our weeks holiday. So good we went back the next night for more!You need to try this place you won't regret it .

You really can't beat the view here, and the food was amazing. Came here with my husband and parents, and we had some of the best steak and lamb we've ever tried. I also want to give a shout out to our waiter Philip, he was so great and honestly one of the nicest waiters we have ever had. Great service and recommendations from him, and when we were having trouble finding an Uber ride back to our AirBNB after dinner he went out of his way to check on us to make sure we were alright and even called our Uber driver to make sure he was going to pick us up. We were so thankful for his help, and so impressed with everything that night. Great view, great food, and great service in this place. You won't regret eating here!PS-make sure you make a reservation if you're coming during the summer months as I've heard they tend to get busy.
