I have been here a few times since it opened. Without question, some of the best brisket I have ever tasted. There is a very unique flavor to it, but it doesn't overpower the meat. Incredibly generous servings, and you have a lot of choices. I would not recommend the brunswick stew as it is not much more than corn in barbecue sauce, but the collards are very good. If you go, consider giving the brisket a try. Very friendly folks there too.

Smokey's was close to our hotel, so we thought we'd give it a try. There's nothing fancy about the place, but the BBQ was great. The ribs were fall-off-the-bones tender and the sauces were tasty. The baked beans were good, and the coleslaw was excellent. We'd go back if in the area again.

We were heading down the road when the old building caught my eye. The shack like appearance was out of place in the strip mall area. I saw BBQ and had to stop. Itâs a family run down-home place. The looks inside are nothing special but the ribs were great. Plus they served homemade red velvet cake.The server was helpful & friendly. This is the place and look that Famous Daveâs is trying to knock-off. Donât let the appear appearance stop you from giving it a try. Weâll be back next time thru!

I arrived at Sandfly with an empty stomach, ate delicious meats covered in tasty sauces, and left satisfied. My wife and I shared the platter and each meat (pulled pork, brisket, chicken, and sausage) was fantastic.

Came across this place while staying nearby for work and needing somewhere to eat late. Waitress was nice and friendly, food wasn't anything extraordinary. Cheesecake I ordered to go and ate the next night was really good! Not a bad spot, decent menu and price. Long wait to pay even though it was virtually dead at that time of night.

Plain and simple...the entire place is filthy. The bathroom, the floor, the windows, walls, tables, condiments on the table, everything in the place. The meat in the chopped pork sandwich was so overcooked it had the texture of lumpy pudding. The coke was flat. The fries were hot but had a burnt lump of something unidentifiable mixed in. No side is included with the high price of a sandwich either everything is priced separately. Not worth the price, do not recommend and will never go back.
