We stayed in Chateauneuf De Gadagne for 4 days to attend a family wedding and as there was little choice of restaurants within teh village, we chose this as our last night meal venue with another family member and were surprisingly pleased by our experience. We had booked early evening on a Sunday and were shown to a great table on teh outside terrace with wonderful views out over teh village and towards Avignon. Service was efficient and friendly, teh menu offered a great variety from a la carte meat and fish dishes as well as pizza specials. We chose the a la carte. Wine was reasonably priced and can recommend their local Rose. All the food was beautifully presented and tasted very good. I would not hesitate to return to Le Bistrot De La Pastiere if we are ever in teh area again. thank you for a lovely last night in CdG.

We eat 2 times here since we stayed at Paradou.The place looks nice and the food looks good. The meat is grilled on a wood / charcoal grill and this should make a difference.However, the beef meat had almost no taste, no idea how they manage that :(.The baked potato can be good or bad, depending on the attention the cooks / waiters are paying to the cooking. We had a very good one and a very bad one. Normally we should have asked for a replacement (somebody from a table next to us did that and got another one, much better).The place has a lot of potential but the result is average. Too bad.

We were headed to a top rated TA restaurant in Avignon but could not find a place to park anywhere remotely near the place so we were driving around trying to find the route back to our hotel. Knowing that our options would be very limited once we left Avignon, we happened on a place that looked like "anywhere USA." A mall! a mega theatre plex! and fast food! So here we are. We spoke more French than they did English. I'm sure not many Americans pop in here but it was delicious and great fun! The service was super, the food was tasty and we had a great time with everyone sitting around us. Spouse had a cheese burger in a crêpe and I had a veal with mushrooms in a crêpe. I tried Pastis for the 1st time. It is like sambucca but you dilute it with cold water. I would definitely stop at one of these again for a quick tasty meal.
