I thought I had done a review on this restaurant about a year ago for business being slow as well as the service and food being meteoric. Well I thought I would give it another try since i was in the neighborhood. I was seated very quickly and given a menu. The restaurant had about six tables with customers and the bar was 25% full.Waited about five minutes for the waitress, took my drink order but I wasn't ready for to order food yet. Came back with the drinks, a glass of water and sweet tea....NOT...the tea was unsweetened so shell shock. Would have been better to inform me they didn't have sweet tea and I would know to add sweetener before drinking. Waitress came back and took the food order, Cajun Pasta. Waiting, waiting....17 minutes till food arrived. Nicely presented but taste was nothing special. Did Not see the waitress for the entire time I was eating...about 35 minutes. Came back after I had finished all my food and beverages and asked if I wanted a refill on my beverages. Did not ask about the food at all. Asked for my check, payed and left. Waitress was nice but had no clue of service. Restaurant was still empty when I left...8:30pm. Will not give it a third try.

We stayed 2 nights at the Bonaventure and we truly enjoyed our stay.I had some reservations because of what I read in reviews. But tried them anyway.We had dinner and was very impressed. Our steaks were very good.... tender and cooked to our liking. The asparagus, and potatoes were also delish.We went back for lunch, which was equally tasty. I did agree with the price being a little high, but all in all. It was was convenient and we enjoyed the piano live music.The wait staff was gracious and thoughtful.

If you're a snob pick somewhere south (Miami) or east (Fort Lauderdale) of here. I liked this place that looks like it gathers quite a crowd at night with a live band on the stage. One of the things that I do love about Florida is that this type of outdoor, food-slinging, locals bar can be found all over Eastern Florida. It's a shorts and flip flops place and the food was fine.

We were not impressed at all with this restaurant mainly because of the service we received. It was not busy at all but we barely saw our waitress the entire time we were there. When we ordered our drinks, my husband asked for advice on what lite beer they had on tap and the waitress didn't even respond. She just looked at him and didn't offer any advice on lite beers on draft. Our food did arrive in a fairly decent amount of time and the food was okay (nothing special, just okay). After we finished our meals, we then waited and waited and waited on our waitress to come back with our bill. We finally had to ask another waitress to ask if our waitress could bring the bill. The other waitress brought our bill and she apologized and said our waitress was fixing a problem with one of the kegs in the back room. She had to know we were sitting there forever waiting to pay and leave! Then we waited and waited for the original waitress to come pick up our payment. We finally handed it to the bartender who then handed it to our waitress. When she brought our change, she never apologized or thanked us for our business. We will not be going back to eat or drink. What an amazing selection for Lunch.they have about 8-9 under $10.00 selections .Which are great Value .Salmon,very good. steak ,really good,also tuna sandwich. You definitely cannot go wrong.we did take out for work.In fact we have now done it severaltimes.

We enjoyed the place so much, even with all the options in town we visited twice, sitting at a hightop near the bar once, squeezing in at the busy bar the second time. Food was really good, super friendly service, as well as patrons and we were happy with the prices.
