Went on a Tuesday evening which happens to be Burger night. They have a large selection of burgers and they are buy 1 and the second one is free.I had the Greek burger which was a delicious hamburger with feta cheese and it was made perfect. it came with chips but I choose onion rings for a small up-charge and they were amazing and not greasy..I started with a very nice cup of crab soup. On a previous visit I did have their chicken pot pie which I would recommend. They have a huge selection of beers and a large menu of Gluten Free choices. NO room for deserts but they did look interesting.Thank you so much! This means the world to us and we can't express how happy we are that you enjoyed! Please visit us again soon!

I personally like Heineken only, but the bar carries a lot of other great beers, both micro brew and domestic/import. Great Old Fashion cocktail as well! Good selection of bar food; I always enjoy the quesadilla and burger. As an added bonus, great live music on the weekends.

I bought these tickets on Groupon for a date night with me and my boyfriend. Tickets are usually $20 each. The show was very funny and everyone had good seats and could see. The drinks however are expensive and there is a 2 drink minimum.

Having eaten Irish pub food in Ireland, the Stil get high marks for its authenticity. Servers are prompt, the Guinness is cold and the food as good as Irish pub food gets. The only people that I personally know who have been disappointed have either not understood what Irish pub food is or expected it to have more American style offerings as well. Reservations highly recommended as it is still a very busy place despite having been opened for years. The bread pudding with whiskey sauce is to die for!Thank you for the amazing review, Mary! We are thrilled The Stil is still one of your favorite Irish pub's to visit and enjoy Irish fare that is reminiscent of Ireland. We appreciate the amazing recommendations and can't wait to see you again to indulge in our whiskey bread pudding! Take care.

Pappas Restaurant & Sports Bar Cockeysville

Reviewed By lpMaggi713

The purpose of Restaurant Week is to entice customers to try restaurants. That is exactly what we did. We went to Pappas in Cockeysville; we had visited the Pappas in Parkville but not the one in Cockeysville. We were pleased that they honored my request for a quiet table and sat us in a small, back dining room. Patty, our server, was quick to come over and greet us and welcome us to Pappas. Patty really took excellent care of us – she paid attention to all the details. My husband and I decided to do the Restaurant Week menu; our friends ordered off the regular menu. We started off with the Fried Green Tomatoes Caprese Tower – not much of a tower, it was laid down, but really tasty. I originally ordered the Broiled Rockfish and Crab, but had to send it back as the first few bites had bones in it. Patty very quickly offered me something else. I went with the Ed Block Colossal Courage Crab Cake. It was huge – 10 ounces and very good. My husband ordered the Ribeye – 14 ounces of beef over hash browns topped with a mountain of crispy onions. He had enough crispy onions to share with the table. Our friends split a Double the Pleasure – two of Pappas’s famous crab cakes. We all enjoyed our dinners. For our sweet ending, we shared the Peanut Butter Pie and a Chocolate Mousse Cake. They both were decadent, rich and so satisfying. We will definitely return to Pappas. Thank you for participating in Restaurant Week!Maggi,Thank you for the marvelous feedback. We are overjoyed to hear that you had such a wonderful dining experience with us. We are thrilled to hear that our team provided you with amazing service and Patty was so friendly and attentive. We're glad that you enjoyed your meals and loved our Fried Green Tomatoes Caprese Tower great. We are so happy to hear that you had such a great time with us. We appreciate the lovely review. We hope to see you again soon!

I do go here often for lunch and dinner and am never disappointed. The staff and servers are excellent and so is the food. They just opened a second location which I plan of visiting. There is music at nights in the bar area and a very nice outside eating area on the patio off the bar. I like their Moscow Mule drinks and crab cakes. Today for lunch I had their seafood Tacos which were terrific and my guest had the burger which he said was amazing.Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience with us! We are thrilled you enjoyed everything from service to your meals! Did you know if you are in the bar area between 3-7pm Monday-Friday our mules are on happy hour! My parents and I ate here in early June on the recommendation from my mother’s friend. We made a reservation the day before with ease. There was really no need for our reservation since the restaurant has plenty of seats. The restaurant is pretty huge. The restaurant is decorated with horse racing memorabilia all over. There’s a decent sized patio to eat outside. Our server came over about a minute or so after we were seated. She was friendly and polite. She always checked in on us. The menu is extensive - there’s something for everyone. They have a large specials menu with a nice variety of meals. - Crab Dip appetizer (creamy dip topped with cheddar cheese) served with warm breadsticks, carrots, celery sticks: This was pretty good. It came out piping hot and bubbling. It wasn’t overly cream cheese-y, which was nice. The bread sticks were a little too hard for my liking. The celery and carrots were a nice difference to the normal bread it’s served with.- Side salads: My dad I both ordered a salad as one of our sides. The salads were big and featured greens, cucumbers, halved cherry tomatoes, and croutons. I picked out some lettuce pieces that were brown on the ends, though.- Surf & Turf (5oz jumbo lump crab cake, 7oz sirloin topped with herb butter) with house salad and Yukon Gold mashed potatoes: Asked for the meat to be medium well but it came out well done. My dad thought the steak was seasoned well. He liked the mashed potatoes and the crab cake. The crab cake was jumbo lump as the menu stated, with very little filler (if any at all). - Philly Cheese Steak (half pound of thinly sliced ribeye steak, Philadelphia style hoagie roll, provolone, lettuce, tomato, fried onions) with fries: My mom loved this. The fries were crispy and hot. The cheesesteak was huge. She could only eat half of it. The ribeye was seasoned well and the toppings were fresh.- Fried Chicken Dinner (2 jumbo chicken breasts) with side of mac and cheese: Both chicken breasts were humungous. The menu said “jumbo chicken breasts” and they meant it. I could only eat half of one before getting full. I didn’t like the mac and cheese. It was cooked fine, I just didn’t like the cheese sauce. We had no room for dessert, even though the funnel cake fries were calling my name. The only damper on the evening (that had nothing to do with the restaurant itself) was a party of 10 celebrating a birthday. They were so loud and the little children were running back and forth and screaming their heads off. The mom kept yelling at her children and the entire restaurant kept looking over at them. It was pretty embarrassing and annoying to hear. The restaurant is located in a shopping center of sorts. The Harris Teeter is next door. There are quite a few places to park, but the lot fills up pretty quickly. By the time we left, the only spots left were all the way towards the back.Overall, we will return. We had yummy food, huge portions, and good service.
