It was May 1st, holiday. Everything full. So we entered here. The food tasted normal but the service... It was extremely slow, several waiters working but not coordinated, they forgot dishes and customers... We were hungry but we will think it two or three times, next time. Well, there won't be next time.

This is actually a restaurant that demonstrate the utmost disrespect for its clientele. Being part of the Hotel Castell d'Empordà and having dined here several times before our expectations were much higher.Stopped by to make our reservation in person on a Saturday. Confirmed the booking by email on a Tuesday. When we showed up on a Wednesday the restaurant was closed due to the hotel being used as a photo location of some sort.I do not know where to begin writing this review. It is definitely a new low for us to spend 45 minutes driving to a rural location and find the restaurant is closed. Especially with an advance reservation.Sorry, but you have lost a customer that has previously your ambassador.

you wouldn't expect it from its appearance - though the coffee is good in the morning, and the courtyard tables are great for a beer in the evening.And it's part of the tourist information office too - so plenty of people on hand for advice.

When walking around this little town we stumbled upon La Boheme Terassa and what a pleasant surprise it was!The food was delicious and the staff was even better. Very friendly, extremely helpful and very welcoming.It's a shame we discovered this restaurant on the last day of our holiday as I would've loved eating here again.
