A bunch of us thought we check out the new location. Parking is an issue and lines were long. Luckily one our party showed up early. Whiskey selection was not bad. The food was very good, they need to tell the price of the specials. We were not expecting a $ 35 special. We will go back. Service was top shelf.

Just visited Eagle Triple Tap, a brand new bar in Eagle. There are 40 taps (30 active, 10 future). Great representation of Idaho and Oregon beers, including Slanted Rock, Sockeye, McCall, Salmon River, Boise Brewing, Laughing Dog, Grand Teton, Ninkasi, Pelican, Three Creeks, etc. You can see the 30 to 40 taps listed under "View Menu" on the Facebook page. If you like to hear stories, ask about the unique countertop and the origin of the business's name. Friendly people, great new space and excellent beers on tap make this my new favorite in Eagle! The co-owner asked us what type of beer we like, and then proceeded to give us little plastic cups filled with samples to try. We sampled a few and then settled on McCall Brewing Company's Coconut Porter, Salmon River Brewery's Buzz Buzz Coffee Porter and Ninkasi Brewing's Oatis Oatmeal Stout. All were delicious on a cold day!The food is limited to popcorn and pretzels for free, and a tray filled with bags of chips and bags of nuts for purchase. There will be a grand opening celebration on January 9. See the Facebook page for details.

What I like most about this restaurant is the variety of menu items. Delicious so far and we will be back. My husband had the Rack of Lamb and I had the Vegetable Neopolitan. Both dishes recommended. We both had customized salads. Yes, you can choose the greens. Homemade dressings. Creamy Balsamic is yummy. Waiter was very hospitable and efficient. Nice comfortable atmosphere.

Much better atmosphere than last summer. The difference was that last year was a Friday noon hour, very busy and very loud. This year we were there on a Tues Noon and it was a much more subdued group of customers. One could visit at the table and not have to “scream”. Much more to my liking. We were informed that the Friday noon crowd are mostly locals and “unwinding” from a weeks work.I had the Grit Pit, my wife and daughter had the Faro Salad with salmon and my son in law had the fish taco. All meals were given a thumbs up. Lovely time and I would recommend this restaurant to my best friends.

Stopped in for an early dinner/late lunch with friends. Seating and service were very prompt and efficient. The drink options are quite nice & varied. For my order: the seared yellowfin ahi sandwich. It was an entree-sized portion of an ahi steak, approximately 1 inch thick and just lightly seared, so as seared outside, raw in the middle (just the way I like it to be!). The sauce was not quite as tasty (spiced wise) as I had hoped for, but it certainly fills the bill! The sweet potato fries were excellent. It's about the best that I've ever had! Thanks for the detailed review, we are so glad you enjoyed your meal! Hope to see you again soon!
