We stopped in here while in Hyannis one night. All outdoor seating, next to a seemingly fancier restaurant from the same owners. We got a table right away with our dogs, and were quickly set up with their award-winning chowder. Absolutely delicious. If you're in the area, you won't go wrong with trying this. Got some fried scallops for an entree, which were quite good - the skinny fries were okay but not great. Service was great throughout. The chowder was the star of this spot - definitely don't miss it!

While visiting Hyannis Port for a fishing trip we stopped down town for a quick bite and drink. We found the British Beer Company. Great food and drinks. Recommend the Guinness on draft. Our server was very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend a stop in if your in town.

Came in for lunch and brews the truffle ketchup is mouthwatering, great make your own burger and buttermilk fried chicken sandwich (mixed greens were great too). Many beers on tap or cans, bound to find something that fancies your tastebuds. Been coming to Cape all my life and will definitely be back here. Great way to watch a game on tv as well.

The restaurant is very popular with the visitors to Hyannis and gets very popular, meaning that a wait is probable. However, this was worthwhile as the food, particularly the fish and chips, was very enjoyable. Many groups were dining meaning that the noise level was high.Thank you so much for reviewing! My husband is a huge seafood lover and I am not - we had read reviews and checked out the menu so this place we decided to try. He ordered the seafood stew and moaned with just about every bite. He loved the light broth and the amount of seafood that was in it. Our server wasn't the friendliest but we didn't let bother us too much!

Pick up order. No condiments such as salt pepper, and ketchup. No napkins or eating utensils. Called to ask why was told that had to request them. Never had to in the past. We look forward to having one meal at Embargo every time we come to the Cape. We absolutely love the tapas options and we have a hard time paring our list down to 4 or 5 options. The atmosphere is so perfect too, half hipster, half old-fashioned vibe. Weâve always had great service and we tell everyone we know to stop here!

We went later on a Sunday night. No reservation needed and sat the bar. Our server was professional and helpful. We enjoyed the turkey bolonaise and the gnocchi. Good size servings and priced accordingly on the cape. There was so much gnocchi that there leftovers for the next day. I would suggest asking for half of the sauce - it was a little much for me. Smaller restaurant, but well worth a visit. We went there twice during our week at the cape. Excellent food. The lobster rolls were great, we also had the salmon and the cod, both delicious and nicely presented. Accessibility very good, the entrance is a ramp and there is a ramp down into the dining area (I use a cane).
