I have been to Ode many times, but not so recently until last week. I am always impressed about how the food stays consistently yummy time after time. Mike the owner is a great guy who truly appreciates his customers. This is a gem in the 8th/Railroad area of downtown Sioux Falls. Always and still highly recommended.

Crawford's has great ambiance in a unique building but the food and service were disappointing. The tomato crab bisque was very good, but the steak tips, described as being served with a tomato-onion salsa, had more of a gravy sauce, making it like a stew. The server didn't stop back to check on the food until we were almost finished. When I mentioned that it didn't match the menu description, she informed me in a unfriendly tone that I could have ordered the sauce on the side. Would have, if I'd known!

We stopped in for lunch during a long drive. Food was great, service was excellent! Itâs not in the main downtown area, but is an excellent place to get a bite to eat!

Enjoyed a good, hearty lunch at the Cherry Creek Grill in April of '18. Ample parking. Friendly staff. Good service. Nice clean place; sports on TV (set to mute). I liked the fact that, when asked if the Grill served off-the-menu cheeses or dressings, our waiter just said "No." He didn't give a long, insincere apology. Unless it's on the menu, or the chalkboard, why should a restaurant apologize for not offering something?Chislic appetizer w/ garlic salt tasted great to me, but I'm no chislic connoisseur. Your mileage may vary. Loaded burger + 1 side = almost $11. Good-quality meat, fresh veggies, french fries crisp and yummy. Mashed potatoes with brown gravy = nothing special -- I'd recommend a different side -- but then when it comes to mashed potatoes I AM a connoisseur. I might order tomato soup next time.Grill offers a nice selection of craft beers and a full bar -- open until 1 a.m. on weekends. Lunch for two, with appetizer and tip, ran $45 (a little high), but it was tasty and it was more food than we could finish (took home leftovers). Like General MacArthur, we shall return.

On a roadtrip to try the breweries in Fargo, ND...we decided to make a pit-stop at Monk's in Sioux Falls. In downtown Sioux Falls, not far from I-29, we found the historic 'biscuit company' building where Monk's now resides. They had a great selection of house, local and regional beers, and to make it more fun, they are tied into the Untappd app so you can see (and post yourself) on their video boards who's enjoying which beer...and even learn more about the beers before you try them. We had a quick sandwich while there as well, and the food was ok for a quick lunch and beer. I hope to make it back to Monk's again when I can stay awhile. It's family friendly, spacious yet 'cozy'. A great place.Thanks for the good review! We certainly hope you can make it back to Monks!

Food delicious but, host /greeter attitude was a wet blanket , he appeared to be very unhappy with something when we walked in . No conversation, motioned to a table, shrugged his shoulders, tossed the menus to us on table. We asked about sitting in the street-sidewalk area close by. (There were 2 empty tables and another table emptying,but glasses needed clearing ). He acted like we were putting him out. In a seconds to minutes , he cleared the tables. Did not acknowledge us , when my friend asked politely if we could move to the table , he just shrugged his shoulders (no conversation )walked over to the table , we followed ( awkward ) this happened in a matter of a few seconds to a couple of minutes ) but seemed like forever.Even with this crazy beginning , our server was nice, friendly, excellent! Do not know his name (he had a feather tattoo on his inner right forearm) The suggestions he gave were right on. Wings were good Buffalo and BBQ bourbon. Bread sticks or poles were soft and crusty . Pizzas were fresh and tasty. The Huckleberry beer was refreshing.Ourserver was an asset to this restaurant. He made a not so good first impression of the place disappear . This was on Tuesday evening around 830 pm . The hours were till 10 . We had traveled over 400 miles , did not know the or might have left. Beautiful city, good food , great service. . shows one guy had a bad day or bad life. Thanks to our young, nice server with the tattoo!!He saved our time and made an outstanding impression. Thank you for the review and letting us know about the host situation. We have addressed it with our team to make sure our guests are greeted with an upbeat smile each time! This is a great place to get away from the crowd. A really nice quite place to get a nice meal. I really like the surrounding being on a golf course. In the summer its great to set on the patio.

Stopped here for late evening dinner on a business trip based on reviews. The service is outstanding and very kind bartender. I had the mushroom teriyaki burger. It was messy but tasty! The fries were also good. Decent beer selection. It's more of a pub than a bar.Thanks for the visit and review!

Excellent pizza and chislic. Free popcorn. Wait staff is very attentive. Not a lot of seating so don't expect to come in with the whole baseball team on a weekend night and expect to sit together.

Lots of pub fare type food. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Bar is huge. Lots of tvs to watch sports and the like. Parking is nice. The food isnât bad but it just didnât seem to have a lot of flavor. The menu is diverse and pretty big but the flavor just didnât seem to come through for a lot of our table.
