We caught them at a busy time, so the service was a little slow, but but not because the servers weren’t attentive. They were in fact very responsive and nice. Other than that, very good food at a very reasonable price in a nice atrium made for a good time. I would visit again. Thanks for taking the time out of your schedule to leave us this review, Bluebird1577! We will definitely be passing your compliments on to our staff. We are so glad you dined with us, and it will be our pleasure to serve you again soon so you can try more items on our menu and let us know your thoughts.

When I only have a short time for lunch I eat here because I can get an outstanding hamburger, fries and conversation. The servers and the guests are great people to be among. I was new to the community and everyone wanted to help me get to know the community here...great collection of Baraboo ambassadors.

I was so disappointed a week ago Wednesday. We have been to Fore numerous times. In many years past for lunch after golf. In recent years for brunch. I have written favorable reviews. Unfortunately I cannot write a good review based on our dinner experience. There was no waitstaff. The bartender was doing double duty. Our dinners were to include the soup and salad bar. There was no soup. When we left almost an hour later there still was no soup. The salad bar looked like it hadn't been restocked since lunch. I had the chicken breast with the marsala sauce. The sauce was so thick I could scrape it off the chicken. The chicken was tender but the sauce was awful. I had the baked potato. Although large it was a little dry. I later heard the bartender/server tell 2 couples who came in there were only 2 baked potatoes left. This was at 5:30. Weird. My hubby had the flat iron steak. He liked his. However my dad had the beef tips. We asked the server if the beef tips were tender as my dad is elderly. He confirmed they would be tender. My dad isn't the type to complain but stated he felt the meat was left over from another entree. The presentation was awful. Vegetables all over the plate. Heavy on the teriyaki. I tried to cut a piece of meat and it was tough. The meat didn't look like a beef tip. This was supposed to be a belated Father's Day dinner. I was very disappointed. I expected so much more. I have no idea what was going on that night. I am so disappointed I know I will definitely not return for dinner. At over $50 for the 3 of us I felt ripped off. If by chance this was an off night for the restaurant than I think they should have been honest with the patrons and either said they were closed for dinner or had a limited menu.

We always stop here when we come to Wisconsin Dells. It is a typical Wisconsin bar, with friendly employees, and the locals make you feel right at home. We went on a Monday evening, and one of their specials was .50 chicken wings. They were quite meaty and tasty. They run different daily specials, too, but I chose to order a good ole' hamburger and chili. Prices are reasonable, friendly and great service. And, they have free popcorn! :-) We will be back!

My wife and I recently traveled to the Wisconsin Dell area and after I had watched the "Discover Wisconsin" program tried this eatery.........well it was worth the trip and the food/service was very good :) We found the saloon to be clean and appealing to customers, and the sever very nice. We had nachos & wings which were fresh/w chips that were tasty....homemade? We saw people coming in for ordered pizza and were told it was very good....next time. I would come back and recommend this eatery to others :)

The burgers, fries & slaw were fantastic! TV's everywhere! Log cabin, rustic decor that made it feel like a fancier small restaurant (plenty of seating), but also a great local pub! Staff was super friendly, place very clean! Darker, cozy feeling... which made the TV's pop out - no squinting possible! HUGE menu to choose from!!

We weren’t sure what to expect when we stumbled upon this location while driving through Baraboo. We ate here on a Friday night and there was a good crowd. We selected to dine outside by the river. This was lovely but as the sun dropped it started to get quite cool (outside heaters would have been perfect). The inside restaurant temperature was cool too (air conditioning and cement floors). They have a terrific menu that includes some unique items. We had the tuna poke and lemon vodka linguine - both were delicious and very flavorful. We tried the signature old fashion drink which was on special. Service was great and prices reasonable. This was a quality dining experience and we would come back again if we are in the area.
