Je nachdem, ob man die NockalmstraÃe von Nord nach Süd oder umgekehrt fährt, ist die Priesshütte die letzte oder die erste bewirtschaftete Almhütte an der StraÃe. Vielleicht ist sie deshalb etwas weniger frequentiert als manch andere Einkehr an der StraÃe, und das ist gut so. Sie liegt sehr idyllisch in einem kleinen Tal und ist gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. Trotzdem bekommt man vom Verkehr auf der vor allem bei Bikern beliebten StraÃe nur wenig mit. Das ganze Ambiente ist fast kitschig schön und man kann dort ein wenig die Seele baumeln lassen. Almtypisches, kleines Speisen- und Getränkeangebot, nicht ganz billig aber schmackhaft.

This is a hidden gem! What a nice restaurant. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the food is so nice. The wine choice is very good. You will pass the restaurant without noticing it but really worth to make a stop!

Die Hütte ist nett hergerichtet, gepflegt und hat eine sehr aufmerksame Chefin, die sich auf sehr persönliche Weise um die Kunden kümmert. Das Essen wird rasch serviert, ist ausreichend von den Portionen und immer lecker. Der Preis passt. Reservierungen werden empfohlen.

We were lucky to have a lunch after the crowd left (after 3:00 PM)The service was excellent (nearly no other people).The soups were delicious, the Kaiserschmarl was not less good.The atmosphere, and the place (all-in all) was very good.

Die neuen Pächter dieser Hütte sind echte Hüttenprofis und in Kärnten mehr als bekannt. Die Auswahl der Speisen ist wie auf jeder Hütte eingeschränkt, dafür aber mit Liebe gekocht und mehr als ausreichend. Der Wirt kocht selber und erfüllt auch kulinarische Sonderwünsche. Wenn sie auf ihrer Wanderung Steinpilze finden, ist er sehr leicht zu überreden. Den Blick sollte man genieÃen und sich für die Pause ein wenig Zeit nehmen. Eier stammen von den glücklichsten Hühnern die vor der Hütte im Freien gehalten werden.

Very warm place. Nice restaurant and terace in the midle of ski resort. Good austrian cusine, best service. Family Pert is a great host. Higly recomended place!

Dear fellow skiers, if you visit Turrache Höche for a ski trip, this is the absolute best Hütte on the slopes! Friendly, efficient, and of course delicious! The absolutely very best kaiserschmarrn in the whole big world! We will be back! :-) Thank you Zoltán!

The beer soup was great. The kids' meals had very small portions, esp. when it came to the meat (e.g. chicken nuggets). And the goulasch, though tasty, was served only lukewarm. One of the salads we ordered was never delivered. The hot chocolate was watery and flavourless, but the coffee good enough. The setting atop the mountain is quite nice and the kids found plenty to play with in the nearby playground. Half of our party wanted to eat there a second time, whilst the other half said they really didn't want to eat there again. So we went elsewhere and didn't regret it.

Great location, good food and drinks. In front of restaurant is Kornockbahn ski lift. One of the few bars where in the evening in Turracher Hoche is music and where is good atmosphere at the evening. Nice interior.
