4211 Cafe & Sportz Bar is situated on the ground floor of the Nerang RSL & Memorial Club. It has a nice rang of light meals, sandwiches,and pizzas, scones , cakes, herbal teas eg. Spring Green, Peppermint and Fruits or Eden, cappuccinos and hot chocolate, you can eat inside or out on the patio, also they have takeaway,as it is opposite the casino it serves alcohol. Zdravko and I ordered a slice of hummingbird cake and a cappuccino which we enjoyed, we found the staff very friendly.

Kooco is my local cafe to work and itâs always a great place to have lunch. Indoor seating as well as great balcony seating - a sensational place to take time out on a sunny day. Only issue for me is limited menu for vegetarians that isnât a breakfast item-only veggie option is a quinoa bowl and I have an allergy to it. Staff are friendly, usually efficient and weâve had a couple of team lunches where theyâve been happy to accommodate pre-order and served us meals on time. Nice coffee and chai.

We had an unexpected visitor and decided to try the Commercial Hotel for the first timeSeveral of our friends had reccomended this place, and as it had recently been upgraded we were looking forward to the visit. Friday 1200hrs. Long queue to place an order, but we found a table. In the newly refurbished area. We were expecting a long wait for our food, however we were pleasantly surprised when our orders arrived in only 15 minutes. The meals were off the Seniors section and @ $10 each were very good value. The fish and chips were delicious, well cooked HOT fish and crunchy chips. It came with a small salad which was only so so but wasnt really wanting salad anyway, so no major problem there.NOW .. the Major Problem... We found the noise levels tottally unacceptable, we were unable to hold a conversation with our friend accross the table due to the bad acoustics. At the end of our meal, we were exhausted by the effort. We tried to find somewhere less noisy where we could have sat and had a chat, but gave up and called it a day.Hi Milly, I am sorry to hear about your experience with us. Great takeaway fish and chip shop. Reasonably priced and service is quick. Tasty fish and really nice chips. Dim sims are yummy and we even scored an extra potato cake! What's not to like! Give it a try!

First time here. Friendly staff. Mond asy kids eat free and there is a kids club. There is inside and outside dining. We had Ranchero Chicken and Garlic Rosemary Lamb cutlets. Filling and tasty and for a change well cooked fresh veg not frozen packet veg. Good value. Filling and tasty. My only niggle is the cutlery is suited for large cavemen not petite ladies but at the end of the day it was clean and did the job.They also offer $10 lunches but that will have to wait for another day

Loved our high tea at Videre. I had prearranged special diet and wasnât disappointed (although I ordered gluten free vegan but was given gluten free vegetarian which is a big difference when you canât eat egg or cheese). But my partner switched a few things with me and that was all safe to eat. Cakes were great as was the tea and coffee. The view was absolutely to die for, one of the best views of the coast Iâve seen. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We came here after work for a few drinks & dinner and I have to say, it was actually very enjoyable! It was recently renovated and itâs made a difference. The place is beautiful although a little short on parking due to its popularity. The bar was nice and you can sit indoors or outdoors. They have a cafe area next to it and upstairs is a very large restaurant with great table service and large meals. There is a large variety on the menu to choose from. I had steak which was beautiful. Everyone loved their meals, the great service and the area is really lovely with room for large groups. Highly recommended. Being tucked in behind the Specialized cycle shop Nerang it's easy to miss, but it's worth finding. Can be very busy mid morning due to being very popular with cyclist. Both food and service are great and they have both inside and outside seating. They have 2 blends of coffee and fresh juices. Parking can also be an issue but if you don't mind a walk try parking in Cotton Street Nerang.

This is better than KFC. the chicken is fresher and retains its juicy bite unlike other fried chicken I've tried. For anyone working late and picking up takeaway in Southport area... this is your go to joint.
