Travelling between Canberra and adelaide we stopped here for some lunch. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the meals were great and well priced. It was nice and cool inside ( on a 37 degrees day). Meals we served quickly and the place had a great relaxing atmosphere. I don't think I will be stopping at the servo for lunch in future, well worth going a few k's off the highway.

Steer clear : I mean, really - don't order a Medium Rare sirloin ... It arrives on your table still bucking and mooing My Vegetarian Platter, however, was very good and was more than one person could get through ... good thing, since my husband didn't eat his raw meat.

Nice meals especially the Chicken Schnitzel it just melted in the mouth. The free desert if you stay in motel was just fruit salad out of a tin and vanilla ice cream was expecting a little better then that.

3 egg omelette was light and fluffy; frittata of the day (feta, red onion, dried tomatoes) was delicious and served with a healthy side salad. Good coffee. Very satisfying lunch stop, and still serving lunch at 3:00pm! Pleasant atmosphere.

I motor cycle tour thru Narrandera a couple of times each. Discovered Cafe Shazaray a few years ago. The place is a must for me these days.. Great coffee, great food, great service and always great meeting some of the locals when sitting out front in the sun (weather permitting).Highly recommended.
