Guilderton Country Club, located a short walk from the Moore River estuary and Caravan Park on Wedge Street. We are a community based not for profit - open to all, offering cold beverages and club meals in a relaxed environment. There are loads of activit
This is what I'd consider an iconic Aussie country club. Bare basics, good manager and a few hard working staff.Drink prices are typically good to fair, and the menu includes fish n chips, burgers parmies and a bunch of other stuff like nuggets for the kids. The menu is often the same, but the quality varies massively. This club has what must be frozen pizzas and basic pre made pasta. To quote the kids "This tastes like spaghetti with a tin of crushed tomatoes thrown in."The steak burger was ok and so was the hamburger, but the chips were soft and soggy. If it wasn't for the friendly locals and the good staff, this would be another disaster. These places serve a purpose for the locals, and tourists like us will go there once only. It's a shame because if the chefs were a bit better we'd eat there every night of the holiday.

Had a late lunch on the busiest weekend of the year. We were the only ones there. Had a steak burger, nachos and a bowl of chips. All fresh and good. Price is usual Western Australia expensive. Good view and has an outdoor area. Would recommend.

On the way from Perth to the Pinnacles this is the perfect place for a break. On the way out we had a coffee and on the way back we stopped for lunch. Although it was only 2.15 pm the kitchen had already closed but some sandwiches and a pie were still available. Friendly service.

Staying on the coast, friends and us decided to lunch at the Seabird Tavern as a treat. Great decisionUpon arrival we were immediately welcomed, asked our pleasure, either drinks, drinks and lunch or lunch, inside the Tavern or outside the Tavern overlooking the ocean. Choices, choices!WE decided inside but with ocean views and menus were delivered, drink orders taken and we settled in to select our lunches. The menu is a typical Tavern menu but highlights the seafood. Burgers etc for kids seemed to be popular as were most choices. We settled for "seafood baskets" and grilled pink snapper, both excellent selections.Service was excellent, attention to our needs spot on and the whole experience was such that upon leaving we were more than happy. If in the area, try the Seabird Tavern for lunch
