This is a fabulous experience for lovers of fresh seafood. My husband and I shared the 2 tier platter which really was enough for 3 people. BUT we did it justice! Couldn't fault anything on the platter - bugs, prawns, sushi salmon, oysters - no fillers like chips. The experience is enhanced by sharing a table with other travellers. Be sure to start a conversation and the response will add to the overall experience of dining here. We sat with 2 American attorneys. One from California, the other from Florida. A lovely Israeli couple and a young man from India. Don't miss this experience. It truly is special. Make sure you go well before 8pm or you might not get in...it's busy! It was located at Finger D of the pier when we dined in October.

I ate here with 3 of my friends who were visiting and we all loved it. There is lots of flavour in the food yet we could still taste the actual seafood still and the service was good. I love the "fish list" they have; you pick one of 5 different kinds of fish then there is 5 different ways/flavours to choose how you would like it cooked. My friends were all happy woth their choices, I had the seafood paella and was also very happy.

By far one of the best restaurants in Cairns and have only discovered it just now. The food is amazing! And I can only recommend for everyone to try everything! The sprouts are delicious as well for the haloumi! Everything was so good. Laura was serving our table and she helped us so good and knew so much about all the food. Definitely will visit again!

Dundee's at the Cairns Aquarium

Dundee's at the Cairns Aquarium is the perfect place to sit back, relax and dine whilst enjoying the wonderful aquarium views

My partner, daughter and I visited Dundee’s last Friday night following a recommendation in our hotel. From the moment I booked the table with Jack, to navigating through being late (there are two Dundee’s in Cairns!), to the service and professionalism of the staff, to the incredible food, this was an outstanding experience.Jack and, in particular our waiter, Brendan are courteous and welcoming gentlemen and professionals who couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome, with particular focus on our three year old. The Aquarium Platter was sensational and worth every cent. The leftover fish the following day was the best lunch I’d had for some time! I cannot speak for the rest of the menu, but based on the seafood and service this is a restaurant which will not disappoint anyone. And you can watch soothing, swimming fish while you eat!Thank you, Jack and Brendan.Estée, Rana-May and Paul

I visit NOA a fair bit, but hadn't been for breakfast in a while. The food, service, coffee passed all expectations. The 'Smorgasboard' tasting board of mixed brekky delights and a freshly squeezed OJ could not be faulted. Crispy bacon. Hell yes. I got to have a savoury breakfast with a small sample of bircher as a sweetener. Can't wait to return.

Linga Longa International Restaurant

Great menu of international dishes with a focus on a French cuisine. A restaurant experience which the whole family will enjoy. For locals and tourists alike.

We regularly dine out at a variety of local restaurants throughout Cairns and surrounding area. We have eclectic tastes and like to eat varied cultural quizines. We have dined at Linga Longa International on a weekly to fortnightly basis for quite some time and have always found the entire experience of an excellent standard. From the moment you walk into this small family run restaurant, you are made to feel welcome. The food is of the highest quality. Sergey and his staff are always looking to improve and deliver the best product. The prices are very reasonable. The ambiance is great, and you are able to have a conversation without being blotted out by background noise, such is the case in a lot of other restaurants. I have run out superlatives when describing our dining experiences each time we dine there. If you want to continue paying a fortune at other more prominent establishments. That’s fine. But we will continue to dine at this secluded gem that’s offers everything we desire in a dining experience.
