Been going here for years! Best teriyaki chicken and Yakisoba around. I recommend the spicy chicken yakisoba plate. Or the bowl. They also have really good gyoza!! Honestly you canât go wrong there. Everything is amazing! I better finish this review up and head there now.

Not the place you are likely to pick but if don't you are missing out. Between a service station and a empty lot it looks forlorn, the Lotto sign doesn't help. Inside things are not a lot better but we're here for the food not the decor. Service is quick, pleasant and familiar. Tea and water arrived before we got settled in. The lunch menu was classic, one from box one and one from box two with plenty of options. All of our selections were excellent. Portions were large enough so that at least one more meal came home with us. If you are hungry and the food is the most important part of the meal Yan Yan Chinese Cuisine should be on your short list.

Obsessed with trying both the highest rated Pho restaurants in Salem, we finally took a side trip to King Huong. This did not answer my question "Which is the best?", yet it revealed a restaurant with its own strengths and weaknesses. That said, the rating reflects my conclusion that this is a very meritorious restaurant. The broth is, to my taste, among the best I've had anywhere. Servings are generous, and the supplements (basil, bean sprouts, limes and chiles) are very comprehensive and abundant. Condiments were a bit sparse (only some diced pepper, Hoisin sauce, and soy sauce were on the table) and the pepper jar needed to be filled. Also ordered were Summer rolls with shrimp, which were both large and well-balanced. My spouse approved. Price was exceptionally competitive, well-deserving of being categorized as "Cheap Eats" even as quality was high. Service was a bit slow and erratic: a neighboring table had a significant problem with their order, and despite a number of servers it seemed like there was a lot of standing around and tentativeness. On the whole, I still haven't decided which is the best but am anxious to go back to Kin Huong to do further investigating.

I was disappointed. My spring rolls were mostly shell and not fully cooked in the middle. The kung pao chicken was with dark meat, didn't seem like any version of kung pao chicken I've ever had. Doubt I'd go backour spring rolls is all vegetable, there is no way to do it fully cooked, well done?kung pao chicken with dark meat? we have been here five years, we do not have chicken dark meat in stock, we never use chicken dark meat! Mr. or Ms. benfran02; do you know how identify breast white meat from dark meat? I have no idea where you had any version? of kung pao chicken before, this is a very irresponsible conduct, base on your incorrect opinion. my restaurant has a policy from first opening day; if you don't like any of our meal item, simply just tell your server, we will not collect any money from customerplease correct your review! or do call us get this straight, I should refund your money and apologize for not even has a chance to take your instruction, to prepare in your version of cooking. p.s. please don't hide in the dark, ruin our restaurant reputation, what's good for you?

not that fond of Love love ate there because it was close to where I work only had a 45 min lunch I per ordered and they still did not have my order ready in time had to eat it cold

The atmosphere is nice for downtown. Nothing fancy and this is a mid range restaurant with mid range quality. The Sushi was pretty good and the rolls looked appetizing though I did not try one. I did try the Pho soup and was a little disappointed as the broth tasted a little unusual. I was told they have added something akin to anise to the beef broth and it was not to my particular liking. I have had better. The gyozas were good.

I love sashimi! Iâve been here a few times when Iâm in Salem for work. Besides my favorite winery visit I always stop here. Great food experiences. Iâve eaten the sashimi and chirashi (more raw fish), enjoyed their appetizers and selection of sake. My coworker gobbled up several sushi rolls and beer.Restaurant looks like a dive during the day and only slightly better at night. Inside is warm and cozy. Not a big place.

Perhaps because Mina's Cafe' sits in a far corner of a rather forlorn strip mall, I'd discounted it upon countless passings-by. But as often's the case, looks can delude. I'm now kicking myself at all the great meals I've missed out on here before. The food is as fresh as can be, with an abundance of crispy and colorful vegetables. Nothing is over-cooked or over-sauced. In fact, her best sauces come on the side. Mina's peanut and curry sauces are so good that there's talk of bottling them. Perhaps the most delightful part of the cafe is Mina herself, a warm and funny woman with a passion for both people and her native food. You'd never suspect that this joyful woman carries such a terrifying history of her childhood immigration to the US. (You can read an excellent feature story about this by typing in "Mina" on the search bar of our local newspaper, the Statesman-Journal.) The cafe has several tables in three little cubby rooms for dining-in. Mina has done a nice job decorating the spaces. She also has a big following in take-out orders. Anyway, we'll soon be back to Mina's for more pad thai, fresh spring rolls and strawberry-banana fruit smoothies. I need to make up for lost time.

The freshness of the sushi was remarkable. Ordered the trio and partner had salmon. Very simply prepared and expertly presented, and it was the quality of the product that took center stage. I wish I took pics, but suffice to say it was most consumable. We dined in regular restaurant side that also features a full bar and noisey blender. They have another side with the full show hibachi grill with chef's that appeared as entertaining as they were talented culinarians. Recommend.

I'm always leery of a restaurant that serves several types of food like Italian and Mexican. Don't know why, it's just a thing for me. The place feels old, like it hasn't been updated since it opened. Waitress seemed like she didn't want to be there, but not rude. Food was very blah. I'll skip this place on my next trip
