Discover Restaurants offering the best Asian food in Puerto de la Cruz, Canary Islands, Spain. One of Tenerife's top resorts, Puerto de la Cruz is on the north coast of the island. Both Spanish and island traditions are evident in the former fishing village. Its Sardine Festival and annual Carnaval are two highlights of life on the island. This poor-looking Indian Restaurant, Jai Mata Di, offers so much tastier, more authentic and more delicious Indian food as good as new and wonderful Indian restaurant, Indian Express Tandoori and Curry. This time we tried the Indian Express because it opened its doors in the evening hour earlier than Jai Mata Di. Would have been better to wait an hour. Restaurants are located in the car park Square opportunities on, almost opposite to each other, a few minutes walk from the Plaza del Charco, in the center of Puerto de la Cruz. From now on, always we go to this older and smaller. The service was sympathetic, and the interior is terrible, but the food is affordable and delicious.

Had 2 meals in this excellent restaurant recently. Well worth including. Open 7 days lunch and evening
The food is phenomenal and the service absolutely flawless, you can not fault anything about this place. I would of come here every night if I could, compared to our hotel food this is magnificent! The two young men who were our servers were brilliant and very attentive and friendly, this was honestly a flawless fanatic Meal out for us at reasonable prices and HUGE portions, Iâve eaten a lot of Chinese food in my life but this has changed my whole view of it by far because I feel like now I will never have it as good as I did here. If you are visiting Tenerife this is a MUST, I would even recommend visiting Tenerife just to go to this restaurant.
Mama Nena: food to share by Hermanos Suárez.
Haydee has moved up the road, Mama Nena has been created by the Suarez. To call it "son of Haydee" is doing it a disservice. It stands on it's own.Four of us shared the dishes:Crispy Crab Bao with Yuzu Mayo. 2 between four of us. Managed to keep us all quiet (with maybe one exception!). Delicious.Salad of Crispy Prawns and red fruit vinaigrette. My oh my! Lovely.Tuna Tartar with gooseberry ponzu. Magnificent blend of a variety of different tastes which possibly shouldn't work but does.Meatballs over Udon noodles with teriyaki sauce. OMG - the taste of the noodles! Meatballs good too!!Pork Rib cooked at low temperature with strawberry hoisin - the previous dishes were excellent - so was this! Again, another wonderful blend of unexpected tastes. Which worked very well! And then came the Postres! Well this was seething else! Chocolate Foam, cream of galletta maria with date ice cream. The taste literally did explode in your mouth!Electric Lemon Pie - the best lemon pie I have ever tasted!Banana ceviche with tiger milk ice cream and rocoto. Can't really comment as I was unable to prise a taste! Suffice it to say there were many satisfied grunts being made!Crunchy vanilla strudel with kaffir lime ice cream and curry. This dish probably defines the whole meal, a blend of different tastes which probably shouldn't be mixed together but they work spectacularly well.2 bottles of Balancies White and two bottles of water. Much Pan and Mantiquilla. â¬146.A wonderful meal and thoroughly recommended.Thank you so much for such a kind review! We are truly honoured to receive this great words within our first month! We hope to have you back very soon so you can continue to experience our innovative cuisine. Best,

Felt let down to be honest , too much raw garlic on everything. We were in there hour and half and chicken we could see in the open kitchen was left unattended, not good in my eyes . Also confused by the menu as no starters ?? On a plus note the rice was nice

Fantastic tasty food. There are only about 20 covers in this little restaurant. We were lucky enough to sit outside. Service friendly and an excellent choice for vegetarians.

We are newly opened in 2016 and have good food and excelent service in very calm place. 70 sitting places inside. 20 outside.
After spending some time in India I really missed the authentic good quality Indian food, which is so hard to find in Europe nowadays. Moreover, I went there with an Indian friend who confirmed it, which is I think the best possible review. Will be going back there for sure!
