A gem of a Vietnamese restaurant in a wasteland of a neighborhood. If you drive, I suggest you GPS it.They have moved recently into larger digs; place has a millennial-hip vibe; young crowd. No alcohol. Spring rolls - copious size, fresh. Got vegetarian pho for 1st time - pleasant surprise: rich broth, multiple kinds of nice mushrooms.Catfish dish, breaded pieces well cooked, slightly on the salty side. Red cabbage based salad, super fresh ingredients - a pleasure.Added bonus- really well informed and pleasant wait staff.

I love Sakura. Their food is delicious and fresh. I've had their hibachi fish and also various sushi rolls. All good!! Having free sake is an added bonus. Also great having a restaurant in the neighborhood you can walk to that is not too expensive, has good food and has a nice ambiance. Service is quick and the wait staff is very pleasant. Try and enjoy.

Our group of four were seated along the long bench picnic style tables and made comfortable with good drinks. One of our party wasn't a sushi person but the option of pork chops was welcomed and was delicious. The staff was very helpful at making suggestions and the recommendations were yummy. We very much enjoyed our dinner and experience.

Great food and cocktails. We had no reservation, waited about 30 minutes - had a drink next door to pass the time. Food is fresh and delish, really enjoyed the vibe and left very very full.

We were here for a family dinner (5 people) on a Monday night this week and the food was stunning complemented by fast and efficient service. We ordered dal makhani (authentic fare), palak paneer (really tasty) and pepper chicken (stunning) with naans (fab) and parathas. Truly the best Indian food Iâve had outside of India, each dish was delicious and faultless. We paid $150 for the meal and were given complementary desserts (carrot halwa and gulag jamun - both average taste) by the restaurant. More than the food, the service was amazingly fast and super efficient without a fuss, really seamless and a delightful restaurant Iâll surely go back to when next in NYC

Worth the trip to Elmhurst Queens to sample the richly flavored Thai dishes served in this small, local restaurant. Our fave: spicy, limey Larb (with ground pork). Fabulous fried red snapper with papaya salad and anything with Penang curry are also memorable. We hear they have a location at the Chelsea Market in Manhattan but havenât checked it out yet. The chef in Queens is good enough for us!

The restaurant has added more space and maintains its clean, friendly atmosphere with great service, as well as the wonderful food they offer. On this visit the family decided to be adventurous and we ate some truly scrumptious stewed pork dishes, which I heartily recommend.
