Things to do in Marysville
We read some good reviews on this place, so I was excited to check it out. Even inside the restaurant, there were napkins tacked onto the wall with many compliments on food and service. The food selection was alright. I figured the portions would be big, so to save time and dishes, I ordered our food in to go boxes, so we could just leave with our leftovers. As soon as the lady saw us looking through the bags, she yelled out for us to stop. She said we ordered our food to go, so we couldn't eat in the restaurant, and we had to leave! I have NEVER been run out of a restaurant in my life. It was so embarrassing and extremely rude. After all, the restaurant was not busy at all during our visit. Shocked and embarrassed, we left the restaurant. Luckily we found a picnic table in the shade toward the edge of the parking lot and quite enjoyed our forced picnic lunch.I will never patronize this business again. If you care anything about good service, find somewhere else to go.

Seems that there has been a change in management which included renovation.Generally businesses like this benefit from the face lift and equipment updates but sadly this one has suffered, Extensively.Once upon a time in the west this was hands down the best teriyaki to be found anywhere in Snohomish county.Apparently the new management is content with poor quality food.

After reading negative reviews about the management especially once you dine, you can't take the food-to-go, we decided to pay-to-go from the beginning to create no hassle. It was surprising how everything is by scoop or scoops. One bowl to put all the ingredients inOne salad bowl per personOne scoop of riceTwo scoops of ice creamAbove are for dine-in customersOne bowl to put all the ingredients inOne scoop of riceAbove are for to-go customersPay $7.99 per lbFour cooks including a lady directing other three cooks what to do. It seemed they were trying to figure out cooking order. Overall experience, food was definitely great! Management seemed cheap as scoops signs are all over the place; however, who cares about the management or the service, as long as food is great, I'll return.

Would be five if they took cards. I usually never carry cash, but was lucky I hit an ATM on a whim before. Great spring rolls here, served with a nice, light peanut sauce. Very quick service here. I sat down and my basil and sprouts came with my water. The menu is at the table, I had tendon and brisket. Medium was huge. With the spring rolls and a medium bowl, I'm stuffed!! Should have had small. Good amount of meats for the money. Large bowl and rolls for $15. Broth full of flavor and lots of noodles. They are a pho only restaurant, so don't expect bahn mi or papaya salad.

There was free parking outside. We were quickly seated and served tea. The BBQ pork seemed kind of plain, and I didn't care for the mustard that accompanied it. Our main dishes were good.

Delicious fresh and authentic Thai food. We used to be known as Maephim Lakewood Thai, but changed it to reduce confusion. Nothing else has changed.
Usually get the combo plates as that way I get a little bit of everything. Food has always been tasty and you can up the heat as much as you want. Pricing is fair, food is better.

Previous rating remarks leave out sufficient detail and just stating to "love this place"is not helpful.....So here are some details.Almost all of the items prepared are Japanese or Japanese-Fusion.Some American carbonated drinks and a few American deserts.New and seniors to this restaurant, but not new to Sushi or Shashimi. The "belt" delivery system is not a new idea but appears new to this area.....No handicap/disability parkingout front that is not taken by other store customers in this complex----The shopping mall management has not upgraded disability parking since opening in spite of the increase in disability permitted drivers. Easy access inside. ADA compliant. Counter seating with a double belt running which delivers mostly covered Sushi, Sashimi, salads, deserts, and rolls in clusters of four per plate. Many items are commonly found in Asian restaurants that serve Japanese style. However, there is also a house menu (ask for one) with kitchen prepared items to also be considered and that will include Katsu, Udon, Yakisoba, and Teriyaki items. There is also an appetizer section including Miso soup, Egg Roll, Spring Roll, Calamari, Edamame, and others. Save room for desert and there is a section on the menu for Watermelon, Mochi, Orange, Pineaple and various bakery items.Saki, Beer, and wine are also available as well as teas (some are bottled). The ambiance is cheery and bright. There are some private dining booths and/or tables also available off to one side. Doesn't seem a good place for large groups, but meet-ups, blind dates, families, would feel comfortable there. Not a good place to have a business meeting.... Only one lady waited upon, seated, served, and took orders for the diners...even when busy she was able to keep up...So, after first experience, we will go back and try some of the menu items also.

Stopped in for dinner in May after being away for a couple of years. It seemed like the place has gone downhill a bit from its heyday. Ordered panang chicken curry and heavenly beef. Both were good but the portions were much smaller than they used to be. The table was a bit sticky and grimy but the food was quite good.

Tucked behind a gas station in a nondescript strip mall is Chan Thai. Decor is lovely, atmosphere is elegant and quiet...but it's the food that shines. Everything is fresh, cooked to perfection, and lovely. Thai Ginger is my favorite, but everything is great. Prices aren't much more than your average teriyaki take-out.

I came here for lunch with my parents and was really impressed by the food and service. The walnut shrimp, bulgogi and Mongolian beef were all delicious. Our server was excellent, he was friendly and provided prompt service. The prices were very reasonable. The dining room was nicely proportioned and the seating was comfortable.
