Three different stir fries and each had their own flavours and the plus was the excellent quantity and quality of vegetables in the dishes. The grandchild loved the curry puffs and the serve of jasmine rice was a lot more generous than the serves we got in Launceston. The bistro is unassuming from the outside and just opposite the Coles in Sandy Bay.We went again two nights later and had two dishes the same and two different ones - a green curry and the Pad Thai - the tofu and vegetable green curry was very nice. But unfortunately the children all found the Pad Thai a little too "funky" - that sweet sour fish sauce flavour. Not sure I'd get that one again.

Maybe because itâs head and shoulders above so many eateries that call themselves ârestaurantsâ.Constantly disappointed in the Hobart food scene but never here. As other commentators have said: 5/5 for service, food and ambience.I could add location, with the ability to park in Magnet Court and walk under cover from your car.

This small restaurant in the Channel Court Shopping complex is a go to place for us for a quick lunch. Our entrees of fish cakes and prawn dumplings were quickly prepared and very tasty. The dumplings were filled with a good amount of prawn and the dipping sauce was just right.We shared the roast duck dish which was succulent and tasty. The massaman curry was full bodies and the meat very tender.

The eatery is nearby a big supermarket and other shops and fairly new as there were still traders doing odd jobs in the eatery when we came in. The place looks so clean and great layout with a separate area that you can reserve if you have about 20-25 guests for a special occasion. The decor on the big wall is neatly done and not overpowering. The front of the house lady is so friendly and had a chat with us when she was taking our order which she did not write but said it back to us correctly. The dishes were delish and well presented on the plate. This is an eatery that I will be happy to go back and try their other dishes and invite my family and friends to try them too. Toilet facility is outside the restaurant which is just next door.Thank you for visiting us Helen. We are looking forwards to cook different dishes for you next time :-)

An excellent Chinese restaurant. Situated in Kingston (a large suburb 10 minutes drive from Hobart). We often have a banquet meal which provides for everyone's individual tastes. This restaurant uses the freshest ingredients, cooked in the authentic Chinese way and the meals are priced accordingly. We are an Australian family of four and enjoy the family friendly environment, delicious food and wonderful staff. A good idea to book a table. Thankyou.

First visit this week - lunch with a group of friends. I will return! Delicious food, freshly prepared. Several in the group had lunch boxes - I had the mongolian beef one. The main courses chosen by others looked very good, and were certainly enjoyed.

Never eaten at the restaurant, but have many times got take away and delivery. Seems a bit more authentic than most Australian-Chinese food. Salt and Pepper chicken awesome - although it can't be healthy. Always get the stir fried hokkien noodle - it shames most dedicated Noodle Box franchises!

We have eaten at Room 23 on a number of occasions now as we are locals and it has rarely disappointed. The food is always fresh and although some of the choices are a little quirky ie Green Chicken Curry served with penne pasta, it is always tasty, fresh and vibrant. Service is satisfactory without being gushy and the atmosphere is pleasant but not generally what you would call authentic Thai. Only too happy to recommend.

Sorry to say meal was anything but memorable. The service was slow but were apologetic about time taken.Pork dumplings nicely presented and tasty. Sweet and Sour Fish disappointing. Fish well cooked but sauce overpowered the meal. Was expecting a delicate additiion to enhance fish flavour. Fried rice boring. Overall meal was ok but could be so much better.

Delicious viet food. Looks like such a dingy place (but aren't some of the best asian restaurants like this)! There is a pictorial menu up on the wall which I personally love. We were served by a lovely man who profusely apologized saying food was going to be an hours wait. He was super helpful in trying to suggest dishes that may be able to be made sooner. We said we were happy to wait (even though we were famished) because we knew there wasn't much else on offer and by this stage were craving vietnamese. In the end we only had to wait 10 minutes! The vegetarian dim sums were delish (really unusual to get vegetarian ones - home made). We also had a noodle dish which they made vegetarian for us. Definitely would recommend!
