It was a delighfull evening. Aa you walked in this restaurant the vibe inmediatly takes you to japan, the decoration, the shusi bar, the colours, everything helps you to travel many miles without leaving Madrid.We had so many dishes I canât remember:Oysters (fresh, big, delicious)Alicanteâs red prawn (this was my favourite, serve with the head, extremelly fresh, never esten them raw a true experience)Tuna tartar NigirisCan,t remember all the dishes and bellow you can see just a few pictures of them. They were very elaborated dished, high end japanesse cusine. But I can speak about fellings, flavours and the excelence of this place.My felling throughout the entire diner was the felling of travelling with the senses and the palate. Every dishes served with the perfect white wine.Its a place to go and succed if in bussines meting or romantic dinners. Looking forward to repeated with friends so everything is more casual.

This place looks very good, nice design and great location. Unfortunately, there is no more pluses. Food is disappointing, there is 95% of rice and vegetables and only 5%of fish((( sushi even arenât close to original, so huge size and doesnât tasty at all. Rice is not sticky enough and sushi fall apart even without soy sauce. Udon soup didnât have udon at all and was too much watery. They have a buffet promo, but please donât buy it, guys, not worth that money and you wonât eat that food cause itâs not possible to eat even if you are hungry. Iâd rather eat fastfood with more pleasure. Another topic is the hell smell in toilet cabins! In general itâs not bad designed, but they donât clean it, so the smell as if you are in the public city toilet.I canât understand why this place has so good rating here!Totally disappointed. Place isnât recommended to go!

I found this place by looking up restaurants online before our trip to Madrid and the meal was delicious! The restaurant was a bit tricky to locate once we exited the subway and it is on the outskirts of town but well worth the trip! The portions were great, the waiters were friendly and accommodating and the meal was bursting with authentic flavours. Iâll definitely be back.

I noticed that this restaurant was near my hotel and saw the brilliant reviews. The staff are friendly and the food lovely. I have very recently moved to Madrid and like curry, so it was nice to find a restaurant that I can now use - the prices are pretty average. But the food full of flavour. Iâll definitely come again!!

The food was amazing, we tried a few different items in the menu, the sushi, the salmon, the house cocktail was also amazing. It was a beautiful location right in front of Puerta de Alcala, so it is easy to access and there is a few different metro stations near by. The staff was great, super attentive waiters and Michael in particular was very nice. Would definitely come back when I visit Madrid again.

According to Tripadvisor there are 10,600 restaurants in Madrid and Curry y Canela is currently listed as number 7.We went for dinner having reserved a table. The décor is attractive.I have to say the waiter (maybe the owner?) was excellent, friendly, interested and attentive.The complimentary pappadoms (with pickle tray) were crisp and fresh. For main course, one chose chicken vindaloo 12.95⬠and the other chose lamb rogan josh 13.95⬠with white rice 4.95⬠and a side dish of mixed tarka dahl (lentils) 9.95⬠to share.Being British and therefore very accustomed to the spiciness of Indian food, we had ordered the vindaloo as this is normally very spicy and asked for the tarka dahl to be spicy, but for our tastes the food wasnât particularly spicy.Yet I note that some Spanish reviewers (probably less accustomed to Indian food) found their dishes too spicy! A difficult situation for the restaurant owner, in meeting the client´s varied expectations, but all of the food was of very good quality and well presented. We recommend clients to discuss their preferred degree of spiciness with the waiter when ordering.One had mango ice cream 5.95⬠as dessert which was delicious.Food was very good, service was excellent. We wish the restaurant owner and staff the best of success.Thank you so much for your comment! It is true that people's taste - talking about spicy - changes so much depending on the person, but we always try to give our best service to our clients.
