Our first experience at Asian Cuisine restaurant in Hoover. We entered the restaurant on a recent Sunday afternoon after church. The restaurant was empty when we entered. We were immediately greeted by our server, Abigail. She was very friendly and nice, but could have done a little more to build a rapport and helpful with the menu by making suggestions. I ordered tea and my wife ordered a water. Abigail served it quickly and I ordered an order of egg rolls. The menu has many pictures of the food items. Although good the egg rolls on the menu picture were more brown and fuller looking than received. A special sauce was served with them. I had Beef Pho and my wife ordered a fried won ton. I loved the Pho, the broth excellent, there was a lot of meat included along with tripe and tendon. The bean sprouts and herbs were perfect to accompany the broth and noodles. Delicous. My wife didn't care for the won ton and had a different expectation. All in all a good experience for Vietnamese Pho. A review of their health department score showed that they scored a 93 on thier most recent health inspection. Although a decent score it does show that they have some room for improvement in the fight to reduce the risk of foodborne illness.

We have eaten at Mizu often but, unfortunately, it seems to have gone downhill. The last few times have been a disappointment. The quality of food has suffered. We usually sit at tables rather than at the hibachi grill. Ordered filet combos this evening. I am fairly positive the meat was not a filet, but rather a poor quality sirloin. Way to tough to be a filet. The scallops were very thin and had a slimy consistency. One member of our party became ill after eating the filet and scallops. The hibachi meals come with soup, salad, meat, vegetables, fried rice, and lo-mein noodles. The "yum-yum" sauce is very weak and watered down. After leaving, I looked up the food inspection score and probably should have done this before entering--definitely too low for my standards. Very disappointing and too expensive to pay for bad food.

Off highway 52 in Pelham in a small strip mall sits Tao Asian. I have dined here several times and the food is impressive with good service. Prices are reasonable. My only compliant is they do not serve alcohol at this time. Not sure they plan too in the future. I find it hard to eat good Thai food without a very cold beer to help with the spicy flavors that make the food really good. You can bring your own and their is a Public grocery store just next to the restaurant so I get my beer and go sit down for some hot and spicyfood. If you are staying in Birmingham its about a 30 minute drive depending on the traffic and the time of day. If you are at one of the hotels by the Galleria Mall in the Hoover area about 15 minute drive. Easy to find and the interior is nice but on the small side. You can order take out via their internet menu. It's one of the better Asian restaurants for the Birmingham area.

Pretty standard Chinese buffet. Offers sushi and hibachi which is pretty standard nowadays. Sushi is decent, hibachi always makes my hubby a little queasy. We usually eat here several times a year, including Christmas afternoon. I'd avoid the ice cream. (Kids play in it) . Black pepper chicken is very good!!

Its the typical American Chinese restaurant with non asians working here. The food is average, not bad, but not great. I would say its like going to McDonald's for burgers, or Moe's for Mexican. Its certainly not anywhere close to authentic. Its quick and cheap. Looks like their business is down as there are not as many people eating "in". I prefer Tao Asian next to Publix on Huntley, but otherwise its just as good as anywhere else in Pelham. Ive tried most everything on their menu over the years-nothing stands out as being better than the next dish.

I stumbled onto this restaurant and found myself absolutely amazed.The service was spot on a family friendly dining experience. The levels of flavor packed in the food was overwhelming welcomed. I just canât put into words how pleased I was with the service and the staff. I will be back.

Tucked away in our small Helena, AL community is one of the best Chinese restaurants you will ever visit. They have limited seating and we normally do take out but the food is always very good. I recommend the honey garlic chicken or the Singapore rice noodle dish. I have never had a bad meal at this place.
