It is not saying much, but this is probably the best place to get a burger in sparta. My main issue is they cannot keep the good stuff. That and they mess up orders quite a bit. Burgers are hot and fresh, fries too.

We arrived tired and hungry and didn't want to search much for food. The food wasn't fancy but was good enough for fast food and the place was very clean and well serviced. The food itself is basically sandwiches, breakfast food and some Mexican items. Again, fast food but with decent service. I would return if I wanted something cheap etc.

Stopped in just before closing to pickup lunch for the following day. The two ladies working at the time were very pleasant and happy to take care of 6 customers all needing a sandwich for the following day! They did an excellent job and were pretty comical to listen to also! Keep up the great work ladies!

This wasn't my first visit to Doreen's. We typically like it, and I will go back again. I will not, however, go on a Tuesday. They're closed every Tuesday. This is not a bad thing. I know of countless restaurants that are closed one day a week. I was just not aware that Tuesday was that day at Doreen's.I'll be back, and I will enjoy the wonderful fried chicken once again.

This is your typical diner anywhere USA. Came in for dinner and had breakfast. The eggs, hashbrowns, bacon and pancakes were all done well. Had a nice portion of bacon with four thicker slices. They serve Coke products but sadly no Coke Zero. They would have gotten another star if I could have had my zero.

Went here as a recommendation. I'm not from here so I can't compare to other local restaurants. I thought the food was ok, the onion rings needed more seasoning but my sandwich was good. It wasn't the atmosphere I like though, the building looked like an old house and it looked more like a bar than a restaurant.

My family chose this restaurant for my Mom's 88th birthday. Outside is nothing special - could easily be a village hall. But once the service started it was all 4 star
