This restaurant is actually located in the town of Wickford, R. I. which is right next to North Kingstown, so not to get confused with the above description. As you enter the quaint town of Wickford, it is on your left. Parking is right after it. There is a deck for outside eating and it is right on the water. A great dining experience. Inside there is a large bar and plenty of seating. We had to have the clam cakes and clam chowder as it is not available where we live, however we are knowledgeable about it having lived in RI years ago. The Rhode Island version of clam chowder, that is clear broth, rather than cream or tomato was very good. The clam cakes were plump and tasty, but too salty. There is a large menu of seafood and other items and a full bar and good selection of all kinds of beverages. There is a ramp up to the door so it is wheelchair accessible. The service was good, prompt and efficient. The restaurant was very clean and orderly. Prices were ok considereing the area and atmosphere. Try for outside seating if good weather.

Sonoma was our spot for the wedding rehearsal dinner and it did not disappoint. The owner is very nice and accommodating. The food was great and the waitresses were great as well. The back function room was great for the rehearsal with over 20 people.

Planned a dinner with several other couples and we totally enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere is very comfortable the waitress was attentive and not intrusive. The food was very tasty and timely. We will definitely return.

Great,not expensive meals,and the desserts are outstanding get a piece of the cakes and they will blow you away.meal quality is very good. like the turkey dinner or a great corned beef sandwich, you have to ask for the piickles but they are special.yes they used to give them without asking but not anymore. I think people just wasted them so I think it is a smart idea. Sandwiches are close to NY style and are very large and you can split one with a side and be full.The fries are good.then get the cake.awsome.always good parking.clean,good service.run well.

Meritage has become our go to meeting place when our group of friends gets together for an evening of fun, food and great conversation. The food offerings are varied enough so that everyone can order something memorable. The service is efficient, yet patient enough to allow for everyone to enjoy time together, and the prices are very reasonable.I would recommend Meritage to anyone looking for a fun, friendly evening out.

First of all, the view is so pleasant as you can see the river and or the harbor as well as the many village shops if you are seated outside. My friends and I enjoyed just sitting there and unwinding after a morning of visiting the many little shops close by. The server was attentive and pleasant. There are lots of choices on the menu. We all ordered burgers and fries. They were well prepared and delicious. This is my favorite restaurant to visit whenever I am in Wickford and my friends liked it too as they were visiting and had never been there before!

Have not been for at least a couple of years. Did not like the sound level inside... very loud with a metal ceiling. However last night was tolerable and I could hear the other couple sitting with us. I had the corn meal cod and it was tasty, not greasy as it is not fried. Very good slaw and reasonable fries - could have been crispier. Reasonable prices especially as we had drinks and some chips etc. with friends at my house first. Will return in less than 2 years this time.

Never a bad meal, the Tiki Bar tucked in the back and the art deco bar in front and the funky decor all contributes to a wonderful spot. We live in Newport and Salvation does not let you down. Great service, wait staff and bartenders are top notch. Menu is varied, food is plentiful and just damn good. Prices are quite reasonable for the quality. Highly recommend Each room is a different adventure, and you're going to need plenty more visits to discover all of it. I was hesitant on going here only because of a perception I had that was wrong. You know, Newport Area, Wine, and a classy looking outside made me think this was a bunch of folks who talk about their net worth's with lower jaws extended in a tux or fancy party dress (and would be better than making a run on sentence). I was wrong with my perception. I was also wrong that a winemaker would make a good beer. They make great beer, in fact one of the better thus far in the state.Appearance was great, Food was great, service was fantastic, beer was superb. I also felt fine to be there in a hoodie and jeans.Hello! Thank you for your visit, and for sharing feedback with us.
