Stopped here on a 30 minute break for lunch. Staff were nice, efficient, worked quickly, food was fresh. Keep in mind this location is in a Pilot Travel Center so its pretty small but its clean as well as the rest of the center.

That's one thing you can count on.... the food is always good and buffet is a great deal for the value and the food. We love their original recipe, okra, squash, fabulous cole slaw, etc. etc. etc. They are consistantly a great choice for us!!

Halls doesnt do much for us. The food is pretty much like what you would find at an institutional cafateria. canned over cooded veggies, processed meats. Not our cup of tea.

We have eaten here a few times. I love their battered fish and hushpuppies. Service, food, prices, and atmosphere is pleasant. Great for family, kids, friends. Some good deals for large family orders too. We would definitely recommend Captain D's.

Went in and was greeted immediately. The staff was very pleasant and social. We carried on general conversation while the subs were being made and I felt comfortable.

They have these thunder thighs that were bigger and tastier than chicken wings. The Daveâs Dust flavor was the best. After the Thunder Thighs, I had a cheeseburger and natural potato fries for main course. Everything was above excellent. Canât wait until Dave has thunder thighs everywhere.

This place is the best restaurant in Camden, South Carolina. The atmosphere is nice, casual but mildly upscale at the same time. Good for lunch and for dinner. The food is excellent no matter what you order and the portions are not too big and not too small. The service is always friendly, prompt and professional. It's not cheap but you definitely get your money's worth here.

Ordered up two dozen each: lemon pepper, buffalo, and honey wings. Laid them out on the table for the afternoon, they were gone long before the football games were over. As expected, the turkey etc. was a big hit; but there were more comments about the wings.

Hwy 55 has a psudo 50s decor which is fun.The burgers are good size and they allow you to choose any or all the fixings you want including chili and slaw. The onion rings are yummy. And they offer really good frozen custards including real chocolate malts. On Fridays they offer 2 burgers, 2 fries and two drinks for $12. Every time we visit Hwy 55 we have had amazing service. The staff is really friendly and they kept my tea full (which is something on a hot summer day)Hwy 55 is quickly becoming a go to place for us.
