This little restaurant is a sweet stop in a tiny town on the Delaware River just across from Pennsylvania. The menu includes an all day brunch but we just needed snacks so we were pleased to find a small menu with a variety of choices. The "presentation" of the shrimp cocktail was very impressive and unusual. The taste matched it. I had the "deviled egg" selection wihich was very tasty... made with curry and coconut! The wine and beer selection was great for food pairings.

I had been to this restaurant twice before with my husband. Even with a reservation, we had to wait to be seated. I made reservations approximately three weeks in advance for my family of 6 for July 6. We arrive to find out the entire restaurant is closed to the public for a wedding!! They said they called all of their reservations earlier in the week to change plans, however, I never received a call. It was a wedding! Not like it was thrown together that afternoon- the restaurant must have known well in advance. They were very sorry. My friend makes a reservation on Open Table for a party of 8 for Sat, Aug. 10. We had 11 in our party and wanted the upper deck so on Tues prior to our reservation, he went there and was told by an assistant manager that our table would be for 11 on the upper deck. Upon arriving, they could not accommodate us at all outside, had no knowledge of the assistant managers conversation with us, and could place us in the front of the inside room. They were very sorry....again.Without any sorrow on my part, I will never dine there again.Dear CarolynS787,We're disappointed to read your review of Glass-wine.bar.kitchen. When we have buy out weddings, we close off our reservations. If it is a last minute situation, you should have received a call about your reservation. If you did not receive a call then we do apologize for the miscommunication. Regarding the August 10th experience, we always try to honor reservations. However in this case we could not honor it because we did not have the tables to set up on the upper deck for this request due to high volume. We apologize for this situation and the resulting disappointment. We would like to speak to you personally about this experience. Went on Saturday night. Seated right away. No wine list - more like a "red or white" choice. Wife got a merlot that was easily weeks old. Menu looked good but was not executed well. Very bland and over cooked. Ask for steak sauce. Great service and manager came over to chat. Food needs major upgrade

Tired and hungry, this place was just what we needed, having checked out the rest of Barryville.....We sat outside, and I ordered the Hungarian pork, with all the trimmin's. It was excellent. She ordered fish and chips, which passed but did not hit the excellence level. But the waitress was charmingly chatty, and the people coming out to go home all looked happy. We enjoyed sitting outside and listening to their mix tape, mostly 70's tunes.

This was our second trip to Cedar Rapids and we had a great time. Im glad they have reopened and will visit again for Labor day in 2015. This is a inexpensive campground that allows its guest the freedom to enjoy nature with their friends and family.

We've been vacationing in this area for years. Always loved Bakers. Was happy to see it open again a few years back. The place is better than ever. Great menu and specials. All our dinners were delicious. Great service too. Place has a great bae, with many beer choices. Look forward to going "Back to Bakers" every time we're in the area!

Heard the wings were fantastic here and was not disappointed visiting with my son on a Friday evening. Tried to come during the summer but couldnât even get into the parking lot they were so busy. About a dozen different selections to choose from along with many beers on tap. Lots of sports on different screens. Overall a nice Friendly place. We must have witnessed a dozen people stopping in to pick up take out. check out a full menu on Facebook.

January 18 2019 -POINT - $270 / 2 persons dinner and cocktails only. Well aware of the costs for exquisite culinary meals, which we hoped for based on TA reviews. We drove 45 minutes each way, on winding small snow covered roads to support our local businesses perched in the middle of the forest. Try it If you like well appointed space, great service staff but do not really care about gourmet meals. This resort has customers from the areas of NYC, whom are one of the toughest group of experienced travelers to please. - POINT - We drank a few cocktails first which opens up your taste sensors to be more favorable towards food. -POINT - they can make average tasting food look appetizing and most of ours we could not swallow. - POINT - The staff ready and willing to replace your selection. -POINT - A place like this should offer table side Cesar Salad or learn how to make one. They served a Cesar salad mutant. My Signature Lamb, arrived raw. Oh sure I sent it back but it returned from just as raw and now slathered with a dark sweet sauce. After one bite it was so strong in flavor I could not swallow another bite. Lamb rib meat should be mild. I declined it and took home a replacement. They offer more food while we waited, at that point we lost faith in their culinary abilities. Some of the over priced drinks were not so tasty, and replaced with a smile. They screwed up a bloody mary, tasted metallic. We do not like complaining it puts a "downer" on the evening. We had fun we got full on average tasting foods, but that could have been done at a average joe's place. It is very probable the focus is on the Spa. We will continue to try new local restaurants in the area.
