My wife and I met a friend for luncheon and to catch up with each other at Swirl Bakery. We had heard it was a great place to meet and it did not disappoint. Even though I do not eat deserts, because it was National Pie Day, we were offered a free desert with our meal. We refused, but it was a wonderful gesture. The tomato basil soup is as good as La Madeliene's version. I also combined it with a wonderful salad and fruit cup. I recommend the soup and the flavored coffees that are superb. We finally found the opportunity to dine at this local gem and we are glad that we did!The establishment is not that big, but the atmosphere and food were both fantastic.We both started with the Lobster and Shrimp Bisque which was absolutely delicious. for entrees, my wife had the Shrimp Fettuccine and I had the Double Cut New Zealand Lamb Chops. Both were excellently prepared and frankly, we left nothing on our plates.My wife actually went back when I was out of town and confirmed what we both knew...this place is the bomb!

We head to Walnut most Sundays and I always have the Big Veggie Salad (not on the menu anymore but they still do it if you ask) which I LOVE! My hubby always has the steak salad which he loves. We usually like to sit at the bar and Laurie is a charm. Laurie and Matt usually serve us and they are wonderful. We very rarely deviate from our choice but we always enjoy what we have. The veggies are always fresh and delicious.Thank you for being regulars with us and sharing your feedback! If you do feel like venturing to another salad, we have two new ones here for a limited time only - our Shrimp & Spinach Salad and Thai Chicken "Noodle" Salad. See you again soon!

Had an incredible breakfast at Starwood Cafe. Their menu covers about every possible breakfast option. The service was excellent. Our breakfasts were on the table within just a few minutes of placing our orders. The eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, and pancakes were all cooked to perfection. We'll be back here often.

I have been to Fish City twice now and was not disappointed either time. They have daily lunch and dinner specials so that even the regulars won't get bored. Last time I visited, my husband had the blackened, fried catfish lunch which came with rice and beans. He is a good eater and had leftovers. We also had the fried oyster nachos (which were amazing!), hush puppies, and drinks. My hurricane was perfect and transported me back to the Caribbean. I had the grilled shrimp po boy and also had leftovers. The wait staff was a perfect amount of attentive, the food was quick, hot and delicious. I will definitely be returning.

Friends came to celebrate the wife's Birthday and we decided to try Hillside. Glad we did, it was awesome. The interior is very casual, but yet sophisticated. Service was fast and friendly. We all ordered something different and not a single complaint anywhere. This may become my go to restaurant in Flower Mound.

We had heard good things about this restaurant so we thought we'd give it a try....Specialty drinks were good...we had the chicken & mashed potatoes which was very good but the atmosphere was cold...employees were not very friendly....should say NOT friend! As a guest of a rather large party, I was grateful.The open dining room offered a spacious vibe though the seating was cramped.Although the grilled 12oz. Prime Akaushi NY Strip was cooked to perfection and tasty, it stopped short in value.Overall, a pleasant experience.

Went to Verf's for the first time believe it or not last Sunday. Went right at noon so it was very busy. Great atmosphere with a large covered and air conditioned patio. Had several big screen TV's going with sports on. We both ordered a different item from the brunch menu which for us was breakfast with a mexican twist. They also have pancakes and other breakfast items as well. I ordered the breakfast enchiladas and loved them. I'm sorry but I don't remember what my wife ordered but she loved hers as well. Cant believe we're never been there but will be back.
