We celebrated our anniversary with dinner at the view. We were a little concerned when we saw most of the tables empty, but our dinner put our doubts to rest. My wife had the pork chop, which was large and came with mashed sweet potatoes. She liked it all, though she would have preferred a more understated sauce on the chop. I had rack of lamb, which was done just right and was more than I could eat. The roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes with it were also excellent. The View offers full bar service, and our server Lucki, was excellent. We will certainly come again.

I messed up our reservation and they didn't have it in the system. They were very accommodating and fit us in without much of a wait. If you want to try some food that is not the same old stuff, Bird and Jim's is a good option. You could make a meal out of trying a few of the appetizers which were well done. Our only regret was not leaving room for dessert since there were some very tempting ones on the menu. We'll be back when in the area. I ordered the chicken and waffles. My chicken was actually burnt and I couldn't even cut through it. I asked for another one, but it didn't come until we were already finished with my breakfast, They didn't even offer a discount, but did replace the food, so I guess there is that. My husband enjoyed his breakfast very much and had no issues!

Had a wonderful anniversary dinner here (no, they didnât know). Comfortable atmosphere and a window seat. The owner brought us our wine, just helping out, nice touch. Husband had prime rib which he really enjoyed. I am vegetarian, and have been for almost forty years. So tired of the vegetable pasta entrees as my only choice. This place had really creative choices for me. I got the portobello mushrooms with polenta. Absolutely delicious! This was a great choice for us!

We spend 2 months hiking in the Rockies and Rock Inn by far is the best food we have had during our vacation. The food is always excellent, the servers attentive and atmosphere very warm and cozy. Rock Inn has NEVER disappointed our family and friends.

Our last visit out in 2017; we found this place for breakfast and have never been disappointed by the food. I really enjoy the breakfast sandwich on the English muffin and oatmeal. My spouse loves the green chili burrito. This time it took a while to get seconds on coffee but they were pretty busy. Do not miss this place for a great breakfast! Thank you very much for coming over those years it does mean a lot to us, we truly appreciate your loyalty to us!

I love trying BBQ joints, and Dave's did not disappoint. Lively setting and crowd. We got the smoked ribs and brisket. One of us had the ribs adding the sauces at the table, and I just ate them as served. Very nicely done. For me, the best brisket I ever had was at Dave's. A really great smoked meat. Very juicy too. The sides were nice as well. If I lived in the area, I would be here a couple times a month, the food was so good. Reasonable prices too.

I live in Estes Park and go to this restaurant quite often. I am never disappointed. The food here is very good, the portions are the right size, and the price is quite reasonable. And the service is fast and friendly. One of my personal criteria for going out to eat is that the food has to be better than what I could make myself at home. I am never disappointed at the Mountain Home Cafe. Olga has a great restaurant, and she does things the right way!Thank you for the review!

if you want breakfast in Estes Park, go here. fabulous breakfast. great menu with unique dishes. we were 2 couples, weekday in mid October, had to wait about 15 minutes, well worth it. we had the avacado toast with eggs, and omelet, a traditional eggs and sausage, and a vegetarian dish. all the dishes were fantastic. service was great. prices were typical. atmosphere was typical breakfast joint. very clean. will definitely go there again when in Estes Park. highly recommended.

This is our second visit to this restaurant. They personalize the menu and acknowledge any special occasions. You get to keep your menu. They start you out with a complementary champagne. First starters: must have the cheese puffs, wonderful! The small plates change. Both years they were spectacular. Limited main courses but all are great and always one for a vegetarian. They make their own ice cream and the desserts are delicious. The wine selection is very good and the parings with the meal are well done. The serving staff are special. This is an expensive restaurant but it is worth every dollar. Definitely a place to celebrate.
