Good evening,I have been in Montreal on business for almost one month. My hotel is across the street from your houstons on rue peel and my coworkers and I have enjoyed happy hour and your food there for weeks. The bartender that looks like barbie has been amazing and we have tipped her well and even stayed longer and spent more because she was very accommodating. Tonight we encountered a waitress that was discourteous, unfriendly and seemingly uncaring about her job. Her service was horrible. She shortchanged one of us and then argued that she didnt. We waited a half hour for a drink when it wast busy and all the while we watched her talking to her coworkers. When we asked for our drink she said oh yeah. Our food took even longer to come. All that I ordered was an appetizer. I didnt tip her and I suspect some others of our group may not have either. The manager confronted us in an obnoxious and unclassy way outside. As a result we attempted to go next door to a new bar only to see that it was upstairs in houstons. That same manager told the friendly hostess that he was putting his foot down and REFUSED to serve us. I would not be sending this to you if not for him. Over the course of my time in Montreal....and that of my coworkers, we have spent money and tipped well in your establishment. For him to embarrass us that way and not understand the difference in this occurrence was this waiter, was uncalled for. We went to another establishment and I spent $100 on my own and also tipped the waitress there 25%. He needs to be spoken to. He is chasing away continuous business to cover up for his waitresses incompetence.

Good thing we had a long layover. It was busy, but that didnât excuse forgetting our coffee, forgetting the apple juice. Then they poured coffee in my wifeâs half full tea cup. The food was delicious with the exception of the sausage which was so-so. Got one luke warm cup of coffee and one steaming hot cup.

This was my third time at The Keg in the West Island. It is located in the Fairview Shopping Mall. It is difficult to find a parking near the restaurant however there is plenty of parking. The waiter was really nice; helpful, professional, knowledgeable and everything you expect when being served by a waiter. We started with Tuna Tartar which was lovely. We had two different salads; Caesar & Green salad. For the main dish we had King Crab with Grilled Shrimp, the Steak with the Loaded Potato and the Cajun Shrimp. The food is always good at any Keg Restaurant I have been too. We actually had a mini dessert; the brownie chocolate ice cream which was also very nice. We reserved online on Open Table because when we called the restaurant they said they had no tables available. It is difficult to get a table at The Keg on a Friday or Saturday night however I was lucky to find a table on Open Table. It is a trendy restaurant with a relaxed environment.

Stopped in after a long day of travel. Had the smoked meat. As I am not from around these parts , I didn't know what this was. It was OK for lunch. I guess I will have to try it in some other places to compare. I had an Ice cream sunday that should have been yummy. Not really Just ok. I wouldn't go back. But you can try if you want to

We regularly play Trivia at this bar, and we really enjoy the staff and their dedication. Two weeks ago, the main computer delivering the Trivia feed broke, and Terry (at the bar) spend more than 20 minutes to repair it. The computer was old, he and Mark got it replaced within two days. We always get excellent service from everyone there, and even if there would be other places we could go play Trivia, we would keep going there. They have also golf simulators, and several themed events. They are close to the Montreal International airport.

If you are stuck and canât get out to a restaurant; this place will do. Service was good. Ordered the wings, and regretted it. They were not very good. Not a lot on the menu, but hard to screw up wings.....and they do. Order something else.

I so much would like to give a better review because I have always been most pleased with Bistro Nolah in the past. Unfortunately, the restaurant seemed to be off its game last Friday night. The night started off well enough. The complimentary hushpuppies and biscuits are a wonderful alternative to just plain bread, and we were fortunate enough to be able to sit outdoors, where it's a lot less noisy than inside. The Bistro's terrace is particularly nice, and you would never know that you're fronting on the parking lot of a small commercial strip centre.The problems began with the wine. I ordered a tempranillo, one of 3 red wines being offered by the glass. When I tasted it and shook my head, the waitress asked "Too dry?" before I could say a word, which tells me that perhaps this wine should have been taken off the menu. She then recommended the pinot noir, which she said would be "light". Well, it was light all right. There was absolutely zero body to the wine, and I had to decline it as well. Finally, the 3rd selection was adequate.Next came the soup of the day, which was a tomato bisque. It was very disappointing. It was far too thin to be called a bisque, and it wasn't very appetizing to see droplets of oil on top of the bowl.Dessert was also a disappointment. The texture of the flourless chocolate torte was more like a thick mousse than a torte, and the caramel sauce over the torte made it cloyingly sweet, despite the waitress having suggested that the torte would be the better choice if I wanted something less sweet than the mud pie.I saved my comments about the main course for last, because this is what saved the meal, and why I will give Bistro Nolah another try. The blackened catfish was truly incredible. Flavourful and with a wonderful consistency to the fish. Not cheap at $30, but a generous portion and well worth the price.Hoping for a better overall experience next time.

You really don't expect a lot from an airport hotel's restaurant, so we were exceptionally surprised with the Eclipse. It was bright, airy, very clean, with tables far enough apart to have a conversation, that stayed with your conversants and not the whole place. The food selection was robust, yet designed for the traveller. Our vegetarian companion had an excellent "steak", which she was still raving about the next day. Seldom do I get "real steak" when eating out, but the New York cut was prepared to perfection, along with the potato, soup of the day (pumpkin), and nicely done salad. While it wouldn't be easy to find somewhere else to eat nearby, anyway, there really is no need - this is a very good spot.

On our last day just before YUL and our 3:30 flight we stopped at this small modern burger place close to the airport. It was busy and loud but friendly and fast. The menu is actually large but for time we stayed with the burger options. Excellent and reasonable. A good choice for a quick meal.
