Reviews on Bar food in Dorval, Quebec, Canada. Dorval /dɔːrˈvæl/ (French pronunciation: [dɔʁval]) is an on-island suburb on the island of Montreal in southwestern Quebec, Canada. In 2011, the Canadian Census indicated that the population increased by 0.7% to 18,088. Although the city has the largest surface area in the West Island, it is among the least densely populated. We regularly play Trivia at this bar, and we really enjoy the staff and their dedication. Two weeks ago, the main computer delivering the Trivia feed broke, and Terry (at the bar) spend more than 20 minutes to repair it. The computer was old, he and Mark got it replaced within two days. We always get excellent service from everyone there, and even if there would be other places we could go play Trivia, we would keep going there. They have also golf simulators, and several themed events. They are close to the Montreal International airport.
Wanted to stop in to have a beer but when we got there all we saw were rowdy drunk kids. Not even sure they were of age!

If you are stuck and canât get out to a restaurant; this place will do. Service was good. Ordered the wings, and regretted it. They were not very good. Not a lot on the menu, but hard to screw up wings.....and they do. Order something else.
No matter what you're hungry for, we always have something cooking that's fresh and tasty. All hotel guests and Dorval Airport visitors are welcome to come and enjoy the onsite restaurant or unwind with our specialty drinks at the bar. With a variety of t
Really enjoyed this restaurant. Didnât expect this quality of food and service at a mid-range hotel, but the hotel was also a wonderful surprise. The menu was varied and interesting. Well prepared and delicious food. The wait staff was just outstanding. Young, friendly, and super helpful.I found the prices have high, but all else was superb in this category.Dear WayneSavory, We are delighted that you enjoyed our restaurant and the hotel, DoubleTree by Hilton Montreal Airport, in which itâs located. A pub offering pub food. If you want a beer this is the place. Be sure you have plenty of time before your flight as service is slow and not necessarily friendly.I fly in and out of Montreal fairly often and will find somewhere else to eat at the airport.

We had a three hour layover in the Montreal Airport and decided to give this place a try. We were a little early for lunch, a bit before noon, and as best we could tell there was a dispute going on between the servers about who was supposed to get the next table (i.e., both thought the other should get it). This translated into no one coming to our table until we literally flagged them down. Another couple came, sat, got tired of waiting, and went in the meantime. It almost seemed like a strategy. Ignore the customer long enough and they'll eventually stop calling. The food was okay, but the service was about as bad as any where I've ever experienced. Not only was it reluctant and slow, the waiters seemed to have a real attitude.

Its convenient as an option in the hotel lobby. Open from 5pm â 1100pm, there are plenty of options on the menu and tasty as well. We've had the pleasure of trying the wings, the Chicken Quesadilla, the Grilled Veggie and Goat Cheese sandwich, the Fries, Roasted Quarter Chicken Caesar, Napa and Fruit Salads. There is also a full bar. It does tend to get busy but doesnât take more than 15-20 to get your food.

You really don't expect a lot from an airport hotel's restaurant, so we were exceptionally surprised with the Eclipse. It was bright, airy, very clean, with tables far enough apart to have a conversation, that stayed with your conversants and not the whole place. The food selection was robust, yet designed for the traveller. Our vegetarian companion had an excellent "steak", which she was still raving about the next day. Seldom do I get "real steak" when eating out, but the New York cut was prepared to perfection, along with the potato, soup of the day (pumpkin), and nicely done salad. While it wouldn't be easy to find somewhere else to eat nearby, anyway, there really is no need - this is a very good spot.

On our last day just before YUL and our 3:30 flight we stopped at this small modern burger place close to the airport. It was busy and loud but friendly and fast. The menu is actually large but for time we stayed with the burger options. Excellent and reasonable. A good choice for a quick meal.

Indulge in exquisite food served in style at Bijou Resto Bar, a succulent West Island, Montreal, restaurant. We create local specialties with market-fresh ingredients and incorporate the essence of each season for an unforgettable culinary experience. We
We enjoyed our meal here, but it was not without issues. The food on the prix fixe menu was very good, but not exceptional. Service started off well, but when we were finished, it took an inordinate amount of time to get the bill - the waiter was busy with another large group which appeared to have requested individual bills, after which he disappeared, and we had to flag another service person to pay. Another issue; the room was kept cool, and we appreciated the waiter covering the A/C vents by our window seats to keep the draft off us. Portion size was modest, but adequate (with the exception of the Lamb Shank, which was nicely done and a sizable portion). We found the restaurant to be expensive; but if you're at the airport and want a fine dining experience, its probably the best, if not the only one, available. Another time we'll go elsewhere.
