My wife and I had dinner here after a visit to the Minneapolis Institute of Art before heading to a wedding in Northern Wisconsin. We ate in the upstairs dining room. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. My martini was great. I started with an excellent steak tartare followed by an unusual preparation of lobster meat stuffed in a deboned chicken leg. That doesnât sound very good, but it was. My wifeâs octopus and clam bouillabaisse was really outstanding, loaded with shellfish. We also ordered a delicious romanesco broccoli atop creamy, cheesy polenta. The food and service were excellent. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place to hang out in the summer - feels like you're in the middle of the South Pacific. Lots of rum based drunks in fun containers. Service is always good, and the pizzas are excellent. We spent about 2 hours hanging out sipping cocktails in the sun.

Happy to have secured a place ( this is a highly booked place), I had high expectations - and I was not disappointed! From the oysters, through the scallops, and to the chocolate dessert, everything was exceptional, including impeccable service. The dessert probably tops my list, with a custard inside a "ring" of chocolate and with blackberries and hazelnut brittle on top, simply amazing!

Stopped in for a lunch on Monday such a deal friendly staff and delicious Burgers, Fried Onions along with Sliced Pickles. FANTASTIC, fried Bun along with Crispy Fried Burger. As a side the Onion Rings which were cooked perfectly, Cole Slaw to boot. Great service, delicious food super atmosphere, corner bar. You just gotta stop in. Oh and the Miller is within everyone's budget.

Friday night in July three of us for outdoor food and drinks. We have been here a few times before and we enjoy the outdoor patio that allows dogs and has special treats for them.It wasn't overly busy but service was slower than usual. Tap Beer selection is pretty good, but I would like it if they would carry a few safe standard beers like Blue Moon.I wanted to try a sample of a beer but service was so slow, I knew it would take forever.I ordered pizza with Canadian bacon, regular bacon and mushrooms but when the pizza came out I was told they ran out of Canadian bacon so they cooked my pizza less one ingredient. I wish they would have given me the chance to make another choice. My wife had a great burger and salad. The pizza was still better than average. Since we have been here before and never disappointed, I'm giving Stanleys a pass, but they are so close to being really, really great rather than pretty good.Hello Jim,Thank you so much for the honest feedback. It sounds like there were so many easy opportunities to have been able to turn an average so-so experience into an amazing one. We definitely have a few kinks to work out with our new pizza concept, therefore every little ounce of feedback is crucial to being able to polish this new adventure of ours. I've taken groups of friends here for birthdays, and the food is always very good. The orders are correctly served, timely, and with exceptions/modifications as ordered. We have never felt rushed or ignored in a large group. I've also been here with just 1-4 people, and the service and food was very good.

Sadly, the last two Sunday brunch family trips have been a disappointment against the last decades of experience.12:00 reservations on both trips found the buffet to generally in great need of restocking. My daughter and family brought me to Young Joni. Had no idea what to expect They rave about the pizza and food. My daughter was insistent that we arrive at 4:30 as seating fills up quickly for dinner. She was right. Shortly thereafter people were waiting to be seated. (I don't believe they take reservations.). Diner, take note of this!We were seated at a portion of a high top table. We started with a cooked, spiced cauliflower appetizer that was fabulous. Then several pizzas to share. These wood fired pizzas were delicious! They do have gluten free options.The wood fired oven is in view of the diners. Fun atmosphere! You DO want to dine here!!! A hidden gem.
