Find out what American restaurants to try in Clermont. Clermont is a small city in Florida, west of Orlando. Clermont, which is known as the “gem of the hills,” is surrounded by gently sloping hills in an otherwise flat state. The historic downtown has not changes much in 50 years. Clermont is also home to one of the first constructed landmarks in Florida: the Citrus Tower. When you are settled into Clermont, plan a visit the Citrus Tower. It was built in 1956 on one of the highest hills in the area and serves as a monument to Florida’s citrus industry. It stands 226 feet high and has a glass-enclosed observation deck at the top. You can also visit the Showcase of Citrus to pick your own oranges or take an eco-tour in a giant swamp buggy and enjoy a glimpse into Florida’s past. The entire family will enjoy a perfect day in the citrus groves. When visiting Clermont, be sure to visit Revolution: The Off-Road Experience. It is a unique off-road motor and sports venue perfect for families staying in vacation rentals in the area. You can ride ATVs and dune buggies, water ski, or go bass fishing. In Clermont, you can hike, bike, go boating, or drop your line in a lake and wait for the fish to bite. Play a round of golf on one of the many world-class golf courses in the area. Lakeridge Winery is Florida’s largest premium winery and offers winery tours and wine tastings seven days a week. A visit to the President’s Hall of Fame, with wax figures and White House memorabilia, is a perfect afternoon trip. A short drive away from Clermont, is Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, and the bustling city of Orlando.

Very friendly and helpful servers..making sure you get LOTS of food. The food went above and beyond all expectations ..super delicious every time we have been there. A number of our friends know about the HoneyPot and drop by for the food. I think that is the reason rather than to visit with us. HAHA. Great reason to eat out. Very relaxing place to enjoy a super meal and when you are finished someone comes by to take your tray and tell you to go get more food..not sure where I would put more Just a super place..come see for yourself for price is right.

This gastropub has really great, chef-driven meals that should drive the market in Clermont, even though the town can barely support a Panda Express. Aside from the Clermont Fish House for British Fish n Chips, driving through town to somewhere else to sit down for a meal is a good idea unless you stop here. There are a variety of hot and cold dishes, vegetarian fare as well as high quality select cheese and meat dishes. Not the place to take kids for chicken fingers, and you won’t be bargain hunting—strictly paying for custom quality and attention to palate. And the craft brew is very good.

Our waiter “Leslie C” was prompt with bringing our drinks, I ordered my favorite, the Italian “PoPo” sandwich with a side of Tomato Basil Florentine “TBF” Soup. My wife ordered her favorite, the “Palace Cristo Sandwich with Turkey”. The “Palace Cristo with Turkey” was thoroughly enjoyed by my wife and myself. The Italian “PoPo” along with the “TBF” Soup is DELICIOUS !!, and I will continue to order it every time I return to this place. Leslie C was very prompt with service, and the food was absolutely delicious. EXCELLENT food quality, and TRULY FANTASTIC service by Leslie C, we will definitely return.

This has become our favorite restaurant in Clermont. Upon arriving, we were immediately seated. Our server “Addie” was very prompt and delivered our drinks and warm rolls in record time. Sticking with our favorite, we ordered the Country Fried Chicken with 2 sides of mashed potatoes and extra gravy. Our meal arrived within 12 minutes as well as another round of warm rolls and butter. Addie was very prompt at getting us the take-home containers, which we used to enjoy another meal at home. The Country Fried Chicken and “real” mashed potatoes are always a winner! The service by “Addie” as well as the food quality and value made this a truly pleasant experience. We will return.

Got seated quick, served even faster and the food was awesome to say the least. I had the full rack of ribs and it is fall off the bone goodness. Great flavor and hot off the smoker. Prices were right on with the food served and the portions were just right. If your in Clermont and you have a hankering for some good BBQ don't go to Sonny's stop here.

After seeing all the rave reviews here, I felt this place fell a little short. I'm a typical "BBQ Snob" who fires up my smoker monthly and thinks mine is the best BBQ on earth. I've eaten at hundreds of BBQ joints in probably 35 states. I ordered the two meat combo and three sides.Fried Okra: Typical southern dish cooked good. I got jalapeno ranch dressing. Overall, not bad at all. Cole Slaw: I'm not a fan of mayo based slaw but I gave it a whirl. One bite was plenty...loaded with mayo.Baked beans: Over the top good. Thick with a great smoke flavor, packed with meat; just like I make them. These were some of the best beans I've ever had.Ribs: Six St. Louis. Good smoke flavor, slight "char," and they almost fell off the bone.Pork: It came what I refer to as "stringy." Pulled very fine, the way I like it. But... THEY ADD SAUCE TO THE MEAT! That'a a "cardinal sin" in my book. Good meat does not need sauce...at least not much. The texture was tender, but I can't speak to the taste due to the sauce.Texas Toast: Two slices. If you like butter on your toast, you'll love this. $21 plus a tip; decent price in my book. Overall it was decent. Would I stop again? Well, I was traveling home and it was on the way and stopped. I'd try it again but would not drive 25 miles out of my way to eat there.

Sat promptly. Menu is mainly pancakes and waffles. Found an Eggs Benedict. It was good though the muffin could have been toasted more, the egg cooked 30 seconds less and a splash more hollandaise would have been ideal. Overall tasty. Home fries were undercooked. Tried some of my sons waffle. It was excellent and I don’t like waffles! Service was very good in fact possibly overly so. Decent value. Would definitely return.

After almost 2 weeks of Denny's/McDonald's breakfasts and our hotel breakfasts being nothing to write home about, we were craving a proper full English. This did not disappoint. Proper bacon, baked beans, plum tomatoes, black pudding, fried egg, mushrooms and toast. Was just what we needed.Restaurant is in a really nice location, although was very quiet on the morning we visited. We were the only ones there.Food was brought out quickly. Was slightly more expensive than some of the other places we'd been but well worth it. If we're ever in Clermont again will definitely go back.
