Hidden Gem of Beaufort!

Small things go a long way!! Something as simple as our clerk walking us to our room to ensure our accommodations were pleasing sealed it for me. Then the added touches of outdoor seating outside our room, curtains from the elements, shutters for a southern feel, wine glasses and list available to bring to room, and an amazing bathroom. Large group walk-in shower with fabulous rain shower head! Then a fabulous soaking tub after a long day of walking was perfect!! Morning coffee was a breeze with a coupon right downstairs!!! I cannot say enough about this renovated hotel!!!! You will not regret your stay here. So easy to walk to all over Beaufort as well. Enjoy the cute southern town and hospitality ?

Quick, but nice stop

Reviewed By SGDoc

My family and I stayed one night at the Best Western as a pit stop on our drive from NY to FL. My wife had hoped to enjoy some of what Beaufort had to offer, though we were exhausted by the time we arrived after traveling with an infant and small dog. Of note, we had had to change our reservation by a day because our son had gotten sick and the staff was very accommodating. Upon arrival, check-in was easy. We were in a pet friendly room with 2 queen beds that was very clean. My wife needed to request a new refrigerator as the one in the room was too warm to keep our son’s food at a proper temperature and the staff remedied this quickly. My only gripe is that we were on the second floor and had to lug a bunch of stuff up the stairs (our fault for not requesting a room on the first floor). We didn’t get to enjoy breakfast as we had to depart, but the hotel is in a great spot to walk to the water and down the Main Street to shops and restaurants.

Offered Nothing Beyond Location

Reviewed By Tracy D

I have stayed in 100's of Hampton Inns and typically I am a fan, however I'm not a fan of this one. The location is great but the staff is lacking in a big way. First of all they are not welcoming in the least. Would it kill the front desk staff to offer a smile instead of a scowl? If you ask them for anything, they will say they don't have it and no apology or empathy will be given- for instance ice. There was NO ICE available anywhere in the hotel during my stay. Seriously? All ice machines were broken and supposedly none was available in the kitchen. The woman who runs their breakfast was constantly distracted by scrolling around on her cellphone instead of replenishing and cleaning the area. Hotels are in the HOSPITALITY industry and their staff needs to learn and practice that. Another thing future guests should be alerted to is that the hotel is located near an airfield and there can be sporadic loud noise due to this fact.

Just stayed one night in this outstanding hotel. Slept 3 people-two in the two beds and one on the fold out sofa. Amazingly, the fold out sofa was as comfortable as the beds. Immaculate room, well appointed and very roomy. Everything from the lobby, the elevators, the hallways looked brand new. Cheerful and helpful receptionist. We are Hilton Honors members and will certainly look for Home2 suites when we travel.

The very best in Beaufort!

I wanted to make our 30th wedding anniversary a very special time for us. And I can tell you that the owner and staff went out of their way to make it so. From the very best accommodations, service and friendliness. Helpful in what to see in the area, and suggestions on the best restaurants. The Inn is located in the heart of the Historic district, very close to the water front and shopping. We were able to walk and leserly enjoy all the old homes and historic sites. They have a very good breakfast each morning, snacks and refreshments during the day. And in the evening, you will enjoy some of the very best pie! I am 65, self employed. I work hard, and I don't take a lot of time off. But the Rhett House Inn, and the people there, made it worth doing. We had the very best 5 days of anywhere we have been. We look forward to our next stay. The place is special to us, and I am sure they will make it special for you too.

Upon arriving at this hotel, my puppy and I were welcomed with "open arms". Yolanda and Nancy at the desk made us both feel welcomed! They even had a little gift bag for my puppy. The check in process was super easy and my Hilton Honors membership gave me a discount. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable (Tempurpedic). I requested extra towels on day 2; and they were dropped off in the morning. The parking lot is properly illuminated for safety. The hotel is located just minutes from Bay St. and walking distance to restaurants and shops. Will definitely stay here again!!!

Brand new hotel with friendly staff!

Reviewed By MegBon

Brand new hotel with the friendliest staff! We traveled as a family of four - my husband d and me and our two teenage daughters. We booked a water view room with two queen beds and a trundle. The room was plenty spacious, with a huge bathroom. Comfy beds and a huge bathroom. Staff was quick to meet a few needs we had (more towels, an extra blanket). The only complaint was that the trundle wasn’t super comfortable, but we only stayed one night so it wasn’t a huge issue. We stayed in room 202, if you’re looking for a room number to request.
