Chambres du Pont de la Legende is a unique B&B with a privileged location overlooking the beautiful Gave d'Oloron and with breathtaking views of the Medieval City of Sauveterre-de-Bearn. All guest rooms are located on the first floor and have been tastefully decorated to make for a comfortable and peaceful stay with us. Four bedrooms are available, all with en-suites and private balconies. The biggest room with its annexe in the tower can cater for up to 4 guests. On the ground floor there is a large convivial living room, perfect for sharing a discussion with your fellow friends or guests. From the terrace you will be tempted by a game of Petanque on the private court, or be intrigued to know more about this beautiful site and its great history, especially the story behind the famous Pont de la Legende, a national monument. Take advantage of the fresh air and make your trip a healthy one; ask us for information on sports activities including hiking, kayaking, biking, fishing.
Great setting and views but hotel poorly kept and maintained.
Reviewed By philippe vWe were really looking forward for our stay at Pont de la Legende as we had seen many pictures and read reviews. We were pretty disappointed by the accommodations: The common area and terrace are pretty dirty: cigarette butts, empty bottles, cracked tiles, stains, odd smell. Our room was ok but still felt dirty, we also didn't have a key of the room and the balcony railing was dangerously lacking support. It sounds like there was a change of ownership last year and while the new owner is very friendly and engaging, it seems like he is letting things decay in and around the hotel. If well kept the place would be pretty amazing. (No mask or social distancing with guests)

Reviewed By zozo47les propriétaires sont des gens très sympas et ils savent accueillir leurs hôtes. La literie est de très bonne qualité et le petit-déjeuner est vraiment complet, pour tous les goûts ….. et surtout fait maison!!! On reviendra avec plaisir.

A different kind of "hotel"
Reviewed By StefanonHolidaysWhat a weird experience. From the outside the hotel looks normal, but only when you enter your room you realize how much of a hospital this is. My room really looked like it was operated in yesterday. Don´t get me wrong, it was clean, it was large, but you must like the experience. If you are the kind of guy who would like to spend a night in an abandoned hospital without the mold, this is your place. If you have a phobia about hospitals, you might want to choose a different place to stay. I loved it!! (Shared) bathroom is very large and spacious, that also comes from the past of the place since handicapped people must be able to use the shower. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Marvellous weekend
Reviewed By Eric GThis B&B was marvellous. A beautiful old building, with a water mill & large park between 2 small waterways to relax in. Very quiet at the end of a road. Our large room was quiet, well furnished & comfortable. With the covid curfew in place, we really appreciated our host providing delicious dinners & a good breakfast. And its a great location to explore the valley d'Aspe. Thank you, Rodolphe, for this great weekend chez vous.

Reviewed By Laura ANous avions réservé pour 11 personnes avec le dîner. Le séjour s'est très bien passé ! Les chambres propres et spacieuses. Le salon est un lieu chaleureux où il fait bon de s'y retrouver tous ensemble (autour d'une table de billard et d'une cheminée !). Rien à redire sur le dîner qui était très bon également. Xavier et Susan sont très accueillants et serviables ! Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit !

Reviewed By alain096Ces chambres d’hôtes sont exceptionnelles. Avec 1372 avis à mon actif je reconnais que celui-ci va être le plus élogieux . Le manque d’hôtels sur le secteur nous a fait découvrir ce lieu qui bénéficie d’un très bel environnement avec un grand terrain, un jacuzzi, une belle piscine et surtout deux paillotes où la maîtresse de maison qui ne vit pas sur place vous sert un petit déjeuner copieux avec un beau sourire . Les parties communes mises à votre disposition sont équipées de l’ensemble des équipements nécessaires comme chez vous . Un frigo américain vous permet de gérer vos achats et contient des boissons fraîches à votre disposition à des prix plus que raisonnables. Merci donc à vous de nous mettre cette maison à notre disposition Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute Que du bonheur !
